He has a good brain but since mclaren left he wasnt dictating play and being a leader then the issue became last season was the first season he has progressed but then he struggled with injuries in the last two seasons

He shouldn't been playing in the premier league a long time ago, tbh as he wasnt ready

Sorry beats but I emphatically don't agree. There's been a shitload of players worse than him knocking around the PL.

By the way, nice to see Will Hughes get a move to Watford, this kid should have been playing top flight football a long time ago. Good little footballer with a brain.

Yep. There is still value there.

He'll play for a bigger club in a season or two.

I know the kid well, I have seen play him before he signed for derby

There may be worse but he was never a star of the derby team until the last season and the problem with this last season is that he has struggled with his fitness

He will need to be fit to get a big move

I don't know about all that, the simple truth is he's a good footballer, technically very good, works hard and has a brain, and he deserves to be in the PL when compared to many footballers who have been whilst he's been around. And I think in a better quality side, and a coach that knows what to do with him, he'll get better too.

He has all the ingredients but he has disappeared at times, people remember for his great leeds performance under McLaren but he did disappear for a while after that. Now he is a kid so there is nothing wrong with that

Yeah the PL does have some bad footballers and there is no arguing that but I think a lot of people would have want him to excel in the championship and be a standout player before moving to the PL. This last season he has been derby's best player but his injury problems mean that he cant command a large fee and the fact he has only started 32 games in the last 2 seasons out of 92.

However he has had some very good coaches
McLaren - not the best man manager but he is a great coach who plays some very good football
Clement - good young coach though his style of play was poor
Rowett - Another good young coach

Though the trigger happy owner doesnt exactly help
Should be starting for us IMO.

Not really, he has started 32 games in the last 2 seasons, or an average of 16 starts a season or completed 90 minutes 18 times in the last 2 seasons

Wilshere aka wheelchair has complete 90 mins 15 times last season or 16 in the last 2 seasons, just for a reference how bad his injury problems have been

Be interesting if Liverpool go in for Sessegnon, now that he is no longer an academy player and eligible for signing

With Keane set to sign that's £81m Everton have spent on three signings for next season's squad.

Sandro Ramires looks likely next and they've also bought the young Nigerian striker Arsenal were linked to [loaned back to Anderlecht]

In David Moyes' last five seasons they spent little over £60m overall but regularly finished in the top seven.

What's a successful season for Koeman?

If you spend £100 plus million you have to be looking for competing for 4th. Better teams about though. They are loaded so will spend much more
