I know someone mentioned it the other day but this really is quite mental:

Roman is already our 8th top goal scorer with 2 goals, and Lennon is 4th with 9!

Both our strikers have a 1 in 3 average and really do need to start hitting the net (no shit sherlock I know).

Pretty depressing viewing, however most of our goals in the last 3 seasons have been grabbed by Defoe, Berba, Keane and Meeeeeedo... All sold on, so give it time and Roman will be cesear of our top goalscoring charts. Hopefully Modric and Geo will start getting in on the goals given time.

The way that those stats are presented they don't really make a lot of sense apart from telling you who has scored the most goals in all their time at the club.

And I fail to see how you can be surprised or shocked when we sold our three highest scorers (JD, Robbie and Dimi).

The player with the highest goals per appearance is actually Roman.

If you check his goals/apps ratio against a fifty game season he will score 14 goals.

In fact if you check everybody's ratio from that chart over a fifty game season, we will score 77 goals.

Not bad considering our current status.

The ratio of goal to game is a bit misleading, because even a 88th minute sub is an appearance. Bent was a sub for most of last season. Also Pav still needs to get to used to the game, so i'm sure his will improve. He's been in a new league 6 weeks and still scored more Premiership goals than Robbie Keane.

Goals per minutes on the pitch - Bent is up there with the best.

1 goal every 30mins on the pitch in our colours I believe

i found that when i was looking at the OS. very depressing reading.

it just shows how the turnover of players that we've had recently has affected the club. no one seems to be here long enough to settle into the club.
