I heard yesterday that the popular football magazine Shoot is no longer to be produced, next Tuesday will be the final edition. I know this is not Spurs related , but when i was a kid i always had a copy of 'Shoot' or 'Match' - my favourite was 'Match' , i used to like the part 'Match Facts'.

Goodbye Shoot.

Shoot was really good until last autumn when they completely changed the format and became a small kids magazine. Used to have some really good articles and stuff before they changed.

You must be as old as me to remember Football Monthly. Yes, that was the best. But after it folded, I used to read Goal, which was also very good.

Those were the days when Spurs were also good.

Goal was okay, but the real old stuff like football monthly, they where great. They just arnt the same anymore...and this is from a 16 year old

I was a Shoot! man myself, or rather 'boy'. But, we must move with the times. It's strange but when I was younger, the 80's, people older used to talk about a more innocent time decades before. I feel the same way now knowing that kids today won't be getting this magazine every week, RIP Shoot!

Four Four Two was and is the best by a mile. Match is for 10 yr olds (I still buy it). I never bought shoot though.

Your grandpa has left all the old copies for you? I think it went out in the early 70s, but started circa 53.
