If De Jong could just improve and be consistent with his creative passing/vision in the final 3rd he could be such a phenomenal player. It’s like is so close to being seriously good but just isn’t quite there. He could be tho one day.

Sure looked like one. The US announcers are claiming it is. The only thing is though, the Quatari purposely slowed up to draw a penalty vs playing the ball. That's the only explanation I can see.
