We had a couple of chances, but they were playing round and through us at will, and had many more chances than us in this period. i have never been so uncomfortable being 2 up in my life.
It was suicide, everyone spurs fan who watched it with me were amazed Harry decided to start with Niko against a goon midfield outnumbering us, who in their right mind would think Niko is the type of player that will put in a shift or indeed be quick enough to counter attack.
The defeat wasn't just down to that though, i think they wanted it more, had so much more to lose....and it showed i'm afraid.

You are spot on with regards to Niko, who I honestly wouldn't ever start if there were viable options. My only thought on Niko starting is that Lennon wasn't fully fit (or based on the fact he didn't come on at all, he wasn't fit enough to play any part). We could shove Modric out there and Sandro in the middle but Sandro was miles off the pace and didn't look fit either. Same goes for VDV who we could have played from the right and would have been about as effective there as Niko. Maybe Livermore?

I know what you mean about feeling uncomfortable but we were at least making them a little uncomfortable too for a while and their defence is still suspect but we didn't test it at all. Let's say we attacked from 2-0 with Bale on the left wing as a simple outlet to relieve the pressure and run at Arsenal's defence, do you think we would have seen the Arsenal right back winning a header inside our 6 yard box?

When Harry goes to be England manager Spurs should hire antlesh to replace him. He has all the answers!

Not only does he have all the answers, he writes like year old, so should be able to follow Harry in a seamless fashion

We were gash, it happens sometimes, unfortunately for us against the scum which makes it hard to swallow, no need for the OTT criticism of some players, on the whole we have been excellent this season, time to dust ourselves down and go again....COYS

But we weren't really 4-5-1.

Ekotto was stuck in cement on the half way line for 45 mins.

Kaboul and King looked like USA and Iran on a blind date.

Walker had one leg but played at right back as per his actual role - there's 1 part of the 4-5-1.

Modric looked like he wished he hadn't taken his lemsip before kick off.

Parker had two mindset's - kick the opposition and suffer Zokora syndrome in front of goal (close eyes and hope for the best).

Bale was trying to work out his hourly pay rate for 90 mins, instead of tracking back, tackling and spending more than 30 secs on the FUCKING LEFT WING!!!!

VDV and Sandro kept mistaking the 'shadows' for the ball/Arsenal players.

Adebayor looked like an overpaid prick who couldn't give a flying fuck.

So basically, we had a goal keeper, a right back and nothing else in the 2nd half.

Most succinct/accurate representation of what occured, yet.

And funny

I've just been looking at the goals again on MOTD, ShelfSide18, and there is one moment which sums Modric up for me. Arsenal's second goal. Song strolls past him in the middle of the park and Modric more or less walks after him.

And on the subject of bootstraps, wasn't RVP surely the man who inspired Arsenal's win today?

He'd be better in a 3-no doubt about it-but even in a 3, I've found him to be lazy.

:eek:mg::eek:mg::eek:mg:
I couldn't stir up the resolve to do that

In fairness to Sandro, I was watching him in the warm-up and he was hobbling during the shuttle runs. Couldn't believe it when he was brought on

Personally i think we lacked fitness in every position of the pitch, bar perhaps Walker and Adebayor.

nothing wrong with Harry Rednapp's tactics, we were playing football and dominating possesion in the first 10 -15 minutes. After that, the players except for a few fucked up and decided hoofing the ball back to the Arses is the best thing since slice cheese

Really, I thought we was sloppy as hell and gave the ball away far to cheaply on many occasions.
