If I were to announce that I'm off to support Man City for a few seasons because I want my team to win stuff, I wouldn't expect to be welcomed back. As far as I'm concerned, you're in, or you're out and if you jump ship for selfish reasons, you're definitely out. I didn't want Bale back either.
I didn't worry about Bale we bought him and sold him. I was pleased to see him back even for what little we saw of him. But Kane was happy to sign a contract extension that gave him a bumper wage but he throws his toys out of his pram and publicly gives his notice in. If we do sell him I hope Levy strings it out to the last minute.

Somebody it wasn't a career move. I said it was. Why you got involved without taking on the context is anyone's guess.
Sorry I thought this was a forum that we could all have an exchange of views with each other. But obviously I was wrong in that opinion. I leave you to talk with your band of friends.

Didn't say you can't have an opinion.

I just pointed out that you quoted me and then didn't take on the context of my post.

Obviously instructing his brother to try and get him out of Spurs, seems pretty amatuer to me.

If he wants to leave he should tell Levy or hand in a transfer request.

The days of players thinking like fans are long gone. And while Harry Kane is a Spurs fan and one of our own he does not owe us a thing. I would love to see him stay and win trophies for us and become a true legend. I just don't see it.

Greaves, Jennings, Perryman to name a few were club legends who were shown the door so was their loyalty returned? Players in the game see the other side when clubs don't reciprocate the loyalty. Have seen enough things at Premier League clubs to shrug and say I understand why a player would want to leave. How about the Spurs manager who told a player he couldn't go home to see a sick parent despite permission being granted and he would be fined if he did? That was one incident that saw the player want to leave WHL.

From what I know Harry Kane is a fantastic professional. He will knuckle down and play for the shirt if he is not sold. Players like him are egotistical even when they don't appear to be. He will be sat at home thinking he can be the player to lead Man City to a CL title. Would you argue against him?

The money been spoken about is head spinning and influences those around him - spouse, spouses family, immediate family, agents. Their lives will change if Kane is sold for 150M and he is earning 400K per week. They are the ones who change and want to influence the player. Have seen it especially with spouses.

I am a fan and will always be a fan, but I have stopped being emotionally tied to players. I support the club and the team and will cheer on players when they pull on the shirt. I move on from them if they leave for another club. I watched someone I know play for Spurs and have no love for the club. Arrived at training one minute before he was expected and left as soon as he could when it ended. Playing for Spurs was just a job to him. Have seen it at other clubs and fans just don't understand it.

To echo opinion on here. We havent won anything with him, and city have won loads without him. I'll take 160 million to improve the team. We will lose 20+ goals a seaon from him but the only down side we lose a quality penalty taker..

Our best deal this season is holding onto Son.

If he’s so keen to go in order to win medals, let’s see if he’s content to,accept the same money we pay him!!
Fat chance of that.
He is a great player but hasn’t always been a team player. A team player would have known he wasn’t fit enough to start the Champions League Final , both Poch and HK should have realised this.
When Jose took over I remember Jose interviewing him (Amazon documentary) and telling him he’d make him a superstar.Harry said that’s what he wanted. He takes free kicks despite being useless at them. Little things like that vastndoubts on him as a team player.
Watch the post CL semi win interview and it will support your comments . The interviewer had to question Kanes comment (he was playing in the final) which Kane retracted quickly.

Although I agree as a fan we will always be devided between what we want and what a player wants will always be different and to them it's just a job, don't sign a six year contract extension unless it has causes in it that allows you to move to another club to win medals because on two occasions you have declared yourself fit when you weren't. Don't get me wrong I want him to stay for the rest of of his career but if he goes as "a career move ??" I wouldn't care if it was an end of career move. I think Son showed today the difference of how fortunate he is to be playing this sport as opposed to personal gain of "Show us your medals"

Who’s our next manager?

Last minute would be counter productive . We always slag Levy off for doing things last minute.
