With the new stadium and records to break, not even a question he is leaving in the next couple of years.

And I’ve no doubt Levy and Lewis will take care of him money wise.

Relax and enjoy a player up against Greaves.

Its on here some one quoted Levy as saying everyone falls behind Kane money wise - I can well believe that.
I agree with you. People obsess about his weekly wage but the fact that he is likely on a generous bonus for hitting certain targets is rarely mentioned; presumably because it doesn't fit in with the narrative that players at Spurs are on lower wages relative to the clubs around them (like they were forced to sign contracts in the first place) and won't stay happy for very long. Guaranteed, if he does sign a new contract worth 300K per week, the media will change tack and start banging on about how he will leave soon if he doesn't win a trophy. If we do win a trophy then they will start banging on about how he will leave if we don't consistently win trophies and if we consistently win trophies then they will bang on about how he will be itching to have a go at playing for one of Europe's top clubs.

Alan Brazil banging on about him being a target for Real Madrid or Barca on the breakfast show. Predictable and it will keep going on and on regardless of how much he gets paid, how recently he signed a contract and what we win.
TBF there's been fairly recent transfer speculation about both Ronaldo and Messi. Kane's very high profile so this goes with the territory, even more so now.

What's more likely to get a click, sell a newspaper or get someone to call into their show? A headline saying Kane to Madrid or one telling us United want Akinfenwa :D

I remember the Jenas stories especially the apochryphal fan one.
Jenas plays brilliantly, scores a hat-trick, clears two off the line.
leaves the field to a standing ovation
This is all recounted to an elderly fan in the pub.
He replies sadly shaking his head wisely and says
''Yes all very well, but can he do it every week?''

Best not to care, just enjoy.

What're the next records up for grabs?
Fastest player to get 100 prem goals?
Most goals in a season?
Most hattricks in a season?
Shearer got to 100 PL goals in 124 games and Kane is already on 136 games. He could beat Aguero to 2nd though if he scores 4 within the next 8 games.

Shearer also holds the record of hattricks in a season with 5, so Kane would need 4 more this season to create a new record. That would also put him top for career PL hattricks, as Shearer is top, but just 3 ahead of Kane, Fowler is 2nd and 1 ahead and Kane is joint 3rd.

Can't believe he is so close to these career records when he is just 24!

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this fact here, but Messi played 12 more games for club and country than Kane did this year, but Kane still managed to be the top scorer in Europe's top five leagues. I didn't know that until last night's MOTD, but it's yet another indication of Kane's quality.

It’s a shame that the media seem so keen to flog him abroad. Guess there are some with an agenda.
We probably don’t sit well with the hacks because we aren’t tabloid enough, what with our multitude of homegrown players, no sugar daddy crook owner and a manager who is the classiest in English football and an absolute gent to boot.

When we win trophies it’ll make it all the sweeter having done it absolutely the right way. It’ll be like a genuinely clean athlete beating a load of juicers to the gold medal.

So he is well on track to smash another 30 plus goals this season. Is kane the sort of player to start demanding his wages are in line with his goal scoring numbers? Levy will shudder at the thought of a player demanding 200k plus a week.

The thing that shocked me was that Messi scored 91 goals in 2012! That is insane, it feels like Kane scores every week with 56, can’t imagine what that must’ve felt like.

Kane with a little more consistency in his goalscoring. I believe he's only scored in around half the games he's played this season, but when he does he averages two goals in the game. Messi was very often scoring two or three, but nearly always getting at least 1. That'll be very hard for Kane to replicate given we won't dominate like Barca were, but with this man you never know.

Let's not forget that Kane had only scored 8 Premier League goals at the turn of the year last season. He ended on 29.

He's genuinely in line to smash the record of 31 [since the PL dropped to twenty teams].

I think we have Salah to thank for a possible record breaking season. Kane was sort of cruising for a bit but with an early pace setter and everyone claiming Salah is going to win the golden boot, he's all of a sudden got to 18 before January

Salah could easily of had a couple yesterday, but he unselfishly passed to Firmino on one occasion when he could have easily scored

I wonder what the greatest number of goals at the turn of the year has been in Premier League history. 18 has got to be up there, if not the most.

Maybe but don’t forget that Lakaku started strong and scored a load in the first 10 games or so. I remember well coz a UTD fan in the office was going about how Lakaku was going to cruise the golden boot this year. When I said aren’t you forgetting Kane? He said Kane isn’t as good and won’t get anywhere near Lakaku in goals scored by the end of the season. When I asked what do you mean by won’t get near he said within 6 goals. To which I replied do you want put £50 on that and the muppet bit my hand off. Mug.

It's because the other fans don't see us as one of the big clubs and therefore they're so annoyed a player from our academy, and therefore free, is banging them in left, right and centre. They don't think a player this good should be playing for us.

I missed out that I actually think they are scared. Scared of the fact that this might not be as good as he is. There could well be more to come. They can't tolerate what that means for him and subsequently us.

Everyone who is worried about how much we are paying him compared to other clubs, don't forget about other payments that he would get for signing the contract.

I remember when Arsenal were resigning Viera, henry etc they used to give them massive signing on fees to sign the contract. You can bet Levy will give our players similar.

Edit: I see @SugarRay has mentioned something fairly similar to my point on the previous page.

Just for some perspective.

Kane 120 league starts 96 goals

Greaves 120 league starts 86 goals

I’d also say Clive Allen 49 in a season is a very real possibility.

The fact that he doesn't score in August is both baffling and makes the rest of his stats all the more incredible.
