Bale leaving was so much worse.

For me anyway..
This is worse because I genuinely bought into the bullshit that Kane loved this club. Sounds like he's forcing his way out for way less than he's worth to us at a terrible time at the first sight of trouble. If it's true fuck him.

Mourinho’s tactics and the utterly bizarre appointment of Mason, who is shockingly out of his depth, were obviously major contributors but I don’t see how Kane’s actions can just be hand-waived away. Surely our talisman throwing in the towel and openly denigrating the club contributed to the pathetic effort last week.

It’s every bit as disrespectful as anything Danny Rose ever did, far worse actually because it was at the business end of the season with European qualification on the line, and will define Kane for the rest of his life in my eyes.
Was it helpful? Over course not but to say Kane's interview single handedly ruined the end of our season is incredibly dramatic.

The previous times we sold our 'star player' (Carrick, Berbatov, Modric, Bale)...

The Berbatov example has a caveat; the summer transfer spend was around the 'Net £0' mark, but had to be boosted in January because Levy had severely cocked things up and we were in danger of relegation.

Anyway, overall, I think there are historic examples of how Levy deals in the transfer window after a major sale.
And how exactly this is evidence of what you said?

In transfer windows with sales Carrick and Berbatov we spent much more than we sold
In 12/13 we had basically 0 net spent, signed 3 crucial players in our future and appointed AVB who probably cost a lot.
In 13/14 we spent less, signed Eriksen who was crucial player in our future and couple of others ?

Yeah, there are historic examples of how Levy deals in the transfer window after a major sale. We spent relatively much and well.

We haven't beaten anyone half decent for about 6 months so yeah it's a bit of a stretch

How is replacing Berbatov with Fraizer Campbell spending well?

It doesn’t have to be single-handed, the fact that he contributed at all to the downfall of our season is disgraceful. European qualification was in our hands despite Mourinho and despite Mason, and if we’d shown up against Leeds or Villa we’d be in a far stronger position moving into next season. Fuck Harry for collecting his £200k/w while actively sabotaging one of the club’s most important objectives.

I suspect Kane will also be a winner once he's left us

Same as Bale
Kane needs a winner to help him. Kane had has chance to be the guy to win things and failed. Now he’s got the gall to come lut demanding a move during the season. If he was a winner, that would be one thing. He just makes himself look like a clown. Imagine being a loser of multiple finals where you go missing completely and saying “i need a move to be with players win me things.” Whoa is me. Eat shit, kane

No chance in hell because Levy’s beyond incompetent but if we can recruit properly & bring in a good manager, we could actually be better off without this serial loser going missing when it matters most.

I will politely leave you to suck the remaining 200 lemons at your disposal and end our discussion

Nobody is saying that’s the single contributing factor to the way our season is ending. That’s an assumption you’re making.

However Harry Kane is the last person you’d expect to do these interviews when we still have/had things to fight for this season. There’s absolutely no doubt that it’s disrupted us. You’d expect him to go about his business in a much classier way considering the amount of love he supposedly has for his boyhood club.

I am absolutely petrified we will see a repeat of this. I would say it more likely than not with our record of striker purchases.
I don’t think we’ve bought a good one since berbatov, Keane and Defoe weren’t as good 2nd time around
