Fuck. Me

You got it bad :D

The only reason he's still here is because nobody stumped up the money. Lets not pretend otherwise.

Levy stuck to his guns for sure, but it's hardly a stance that hasn't been made many times by clubs in the past
True and in this case it sounds like the offer is as nowhere near a level any chairman would want to accept.

You know I respect your opinion, but who makes us better for £125 million than Kane does?

Look at what we could get, especially in terms of strikers for that money and who is proven in premier league.

Yeah, it's well argued - and I'm not sure I have a good answer to it. Certainly up front we would be obviously short

On one hand I'm pleased he's staying.

But I have a prediction: I think we'll end up regretting not getting c. £125m for him

I take no happiness in that statement, I just think that might end up being the case

Hopefully it works out well for everyone though - let's see

How can we regret not receiving an offer for him. You can say we would regret not accepting 75m plus add-ons (which is the offer we received) but we can't regret something that never came.

I’ve given levy a lot of criticism in the past but fair play to him for standing his ground on the price. Harry Kane is our talisman, a world class striker and a leader in the dressing room. City could afford him, just clearly they don’t value him as highly as we do, I’ll get behind Harry this season despite some of his amateur moves likely triggered by his rookie brother / agent / idiot.

I know it's a bit off topic but I simply HAD to share this post I found while trawling through bluemoon for the first time today (wont be my last time) - take a look at this:

Funny isn't it.....that so many blues think that we have so many players that "aren't good enough" for us or could easily be upgraded (Stones/zinchenko/cancelo/Rodri/Ake/Gundogan/Mahrez/Sterling/Jesus) off top of my head over last 2 seasons......I know plenty of Spurs fans down here and they would all drive Son to Manchester in a straight swap for any one of the above.

Is the water different up in Manchester? Did they make extensive use of lead in the piping system?

Sheth is an absolute bellend. Here he is saying "why have you put a statement out Harry? You're under contract, of course you're staying" as if a binding contract is the most important concept to him in the world but days ago he was acting as if Kane's desire to leave transcended the written word and made the contract meaningless.

That's absolutely wild. I love Sonny more than most of my own relatives.

My favourite part is he/she knows "plenty of spurs fans".

Seriously, would love to know 1.

Why are those 2 (Darmesh and Kaveh) the chosen 2 to talk about big footballing events like this? Who the flying fuck are they to say if it’s a win for Spurs or not. Of course it’s a win for us. Darmesh is such an arrogant prick and Kaveh pauses like Ross Geller half the time he talks. They often swap stances on Kane too, it’s just so all over the place.

It’s so annoying listening to them talking about it but if the alternative are D-rate ex footballers like O’Hara or Agbonlafuckingwhore then I guess we’re fucked anyway. Get an ex Spurs player and an ex City player to have it out and get someone with a hint of intelligence to referee it. Whether it’s in the studio discussing it or in the boxing ring fucking each other up.
They're trying to make them banter and be funny and its an absolute cringefest, Dharmesh is just a fuckin dick.
