For old timers losing Harry is no worse than when Greavsie left Spurs , he left because Bill didn't want him anymore and wanted Martin Peters instead.
Soldado wants to say hi !!Nobody beats Raziak for absolute shit imo
Yeah agree, especially from the German side as they can’t keep their mouths shut for 1 min it seemsI'm certain there will be rumblings, or smoke wafting from the *No smoke without fire* cliche.
Jansen wants to say Hi!Nobody beats Raziak for absolute shit imo
How’s his ITK about lots of contracts being “torn up” very shortly after the end of the season going?
That we’d all enjoy football a lot more if we stopped voluntarily consuming content designed to make us angry? With Kane's exit, the media are already stating we will finish mid-table or worse!
You know what that means
That’s allowing a player to move on a free transfer not tearing up a contract. No contract will be torn up until a player finds a club. I'm quite certain he didn't put a timescale on it.
I’m supposed to stop doing that??That we’d all enjoy football a lot more if we stopped voluntarily consuming content designed to make us angry?
We will never know how we would have done with Kane though. I think we'll be just fine without him provided we sort the defence. I would be a lot more concerned if we had the same style of football as the last few years. We should do well as a team and we'll just be different without him is all. Also it does kind of help we finished 8th anyway with him. I wonder how often we will see "Kane would've scored that" in the match day threads though.Bring on all your hate - but I think we will score more goals, and finish higher than 8th this season - without Kane.
Football is a team sport. I think we have become too reliant on just a few players. Without Kane to rely on - I think we will see several players step up into bigger roles this season.
We may not have a 30-goal scorer in the squad - but we will have more players involved in the build-up and in the goals.
Was that the case? I didn't realise they said 10 days. That’s allowing a player to move on a free transfer not tearing up a contract.
and yes, he said “in the next FEW days and weeks”. That was about ten weeks ago.
How far can this kid go?
Will he be a decent premier league striker or is he a little more special than that?
Yes, I know all that. Hence why it was obviously never true. Was that the case? I didn't realise they said 10 days.
However, If you tear up someone's contract, you would be legally obliged to compensate them for the value of the contract. I doubt there is a compensation clause in it, as that would work both ways.
Ergo, there would be no benefit to tear up someone's contract, unless there was an agreed settlement. No player would settle until they have an option lined up.
We’ll be saying that for a long, long time I’m afraid. We’ve been so spoiled and treated to his reliability and brilliance. Hurts to lose him and it just dampens the mood knowing that even if we start to ascend with a more balanced squad and evenly distributed quality in the team and a good manager, we will come so close only to fall just short again because we won’t change the way we do business. We will never know how we would have done with Kane though. I think we'll be just fine without him provided we sort the defence. I would be a lot more concerned if we had the same style of football as the last few years. I took it as, Herc off on his holsSo… Herc says ‘bye bye’, and is everyone assuming that to mean Harry is Bayern bound? Done and dusted? That’s an impressive call. First one to confirm it.
Knew it was drifting in that direction, but had no idea it was pretty much signed, sealed, delivered.
Cheers, Herc for being willing to share that before anyone else has. At least now we know for sure.
Very bummed. But this too shall pass. And hopefully there will be brighter days ahead.
Good luck, Harry. It’s been a pleasure!
Or, things have changed, which is the most logical answer. Perisic went on tour, perhaps ange wanted to take a look at him.Yes, I know all that. Hence why it was obviously never true.
Why would you tear up a contract until the Transfer window shuts? You're going to have to pay up the value of it, sure you would try and sell first? How’s his ITK about lots of contracts being “torn up” very shortly after the end of the season going?
I agree that we're likely to finish above 8th and to score more goals (and concede fewer!). However, I would be even more confident of that if Kane stayed. Son, Kulusevski and Richarlison would all be expected to significantly improve upon their goal & assist outputs from last season, whether Kane stays or goes. Maddison, and to a lesser extent Solomon, will contribute goals & assists.Bring on all your hate - but I think we will score more goals, and finish higher than 8th this season - without Kane.

To be fair to him, someone asked him the other day about this, and he went off on one a bit, basically saying he'd been made to look a mug by passing on certain info and that he was pissed off with the club.No contract will be torn up until a player finds a club. I'm quite certain he didn't put a timescale on it.
Even with the Kane money, I can’t see us getting two CBs unless we get rid of at least one. Not sure what’s happening to big Dav and his moveHopefully this transfer gets sorted out over the next few days. Focus on bringing in 3 CBs in with the cash.
Although a new CF would be good, I say let's give Richie a go, backed up by son and Scarlett (yes I know he's wet behind the ears) if we need to address the issue in January, then we cross that bridge when we come to it.
Like it or not, this is a transition season, new formation and new tactics/footballing style. No europe will no doubt help with the gelling of the tactics and getting used to Ange's style of football.
I'm looking forward to getting our spurs back and enjoying watching 6 - 4 games again
Team and tactics will be changing this season, maybe we as supporters should also change our fickle attitude towards everything spurs?
