Yup, it's a massive gamble but it's beginning to feel like both Kane and Levy have backed themselves into opposite corners and the clock is ticking.
It's a case of who blinks first now imo.
Image of them both in Levy’s office standing at opposite ends back against the wall just staring at each other…

Am I alone in thinking that Kane - for all his goals and past efforts in dragging this club, kicking and screaming, closer to success - could actually end up looking like the bad guy here?
He feels he’s taken us as far as he can and wants a new challenge. I get that.
BM came in and he responded by telling Levy he wanted to go there, leaving the new manager essentially firefighting with the press from day one.
Is it really too much to ask, with the club having agreed to let him go, and having obtained a suitable offer, that he gets on and does what HE has wanted to do all summer?
To my mind this is getting to the point where it shows a level of disrespect to the manager and his fellow players.
He's entitled to run his contract down. The club has failed him dating back to the shambolic recruitment in the final years under Pochettino, not to mention everything that followed. It's not his fault that the uncertainty over his future has created a media firestorm, that was completely inevitable as his contract ran down.

if he stays, you can all thank me. I pulled him from my fantasy team and had to re-jig my entire team on this mornings news.
Sorry, but this whole day has really been my fault. I keep putting him in my lineup, then taking him out, then putting him in again, rinse, repeat.

Emotional damage haha 😂 blackmail I don’t know what you call it these days . Has Kane got the balls to walk away from Tottenham next year after insisting if he is to leave he wants Tottenham to profit from it .

levy will be throwing the whole damn bible at him lol 😂
Sounds like a gentleman’s agreement to me

It feels like this is now set up so the fans get to show their huge appreciation for Harry on Sunday, with him making it clear he’s off at full time.

Well, IF a deal has actually been agreed, it's only really come to light in the mainstream media today. Are you suggesting that literally a few hours on, it's getting to the point where he's being disrespectful?

Sounds like DL and HK have both acted fairly reasonably, looking after their respective interests and now everything has come to a head and a decision is needed whereas previously it’s all been hypotheticals.

The thing that has caused the biggest problem has been Munich not meeting the required amount sooner and trying to do a deal on the cheap.
BM are part of the blame too

That’s happening but it’s actually in Charlie’s office and he is sat on his bike going brm brm and leaning into imaginary corners whilst making a screeching noise

He failed the club with his shit performances in the key matches if you want to go that way, and by negotiating deals with two clubs behind our back in the last 3 years.

Well given that sort of tapping up is illegal, I’m sure Levy would take them to the cleaners and we wouldn’t need a transfer fee ;)

Wonder if they’ll paint over the Harry Kane murial if he leaves lol.

Not sure I’d want to be reminded of losing such a great player by it if he does go lol.

He'll still be a historic legend of the club, we'd love a mural of Greaves as well
