Without him we would have been no where near 3rd in the first place.

How do you know, we had the quality of players, maybe with a different manager we would have strengthened the squad during the January window, who knows. Maybe a different manager would have utilized the squad better when we had injuries rather than making whole system changes, who knows.

He did not handle the England debacle well. Neither did England. Did they once come out to say he wouldn't get the job? No, they let him believe and then appointed someone seemingly out of the blue. What would you have done if you'd have been offered your dream job?

I would have stuck to the task at hand and made sure I finished 3rd securing a CL place that was easily within touch and maybe even pushed the Manc teams a little more. By doing so, would have given me more chance of getting the England job, acting in professional manner and dealing with all the side attractions and all that.

I agree the FA fucked us royally, but Harry should of just stuck to the task at hand, he is a professional manager on a big wage, he should and could have handle the pressure and his attitude better.

And when did it all become Harry's fault? Bale played out of position for months, ruining everything. Modric underperformed drastically. Ade disappeared. You can't blame Harry for everything.

Harry should have nail gunned Bale to the Left and made sure he stayed there and only cut in when it was right and applicable to do so..... Bale should have learned this in training and made sure he done it the games. Either way, it is the managers job to make sure they players do as they are told. Same goes for Ade and Modric. Thus, the managers fault.

Who do you want to come in then?

To be honest I don't really know, other that streaming as many spurs games as I could I don;t watch TV very often and certainly don't have sky so I can really comment on other managers.

But I have certainly seen enough of Harry to make an informed choice on him.

I don't like what I see or hear from him, and the ITK about is even more unnerving. Therefor to me, he has to go, no questions asked.

Quite a sad state of affairs when a newly promoted inexperienced manager (who wasn't even the best newly promoted inexperienced manager last year) is apparently a better prospect then someone constantly punching above their clubs weight for the better part of a decade because 'their football wooks pwetty.'

tbh that style of football would suit Spurs the club the players and the fans IMO, would he have won anything who knows.

If the news is true that 'Arry's been canned then we should now prepare ourselves for a couple years of adjustment (dropping down the league table) while whoever is brought in adapts to several players leaving, no C.L. footie to motivate other top end players to replace them, etc etc.
I fully agree that the club is bigger than any one person but D.L's learning curve is sure taking a long, long time as ENIC have now been in charge for over 10 years and what do we have to show for their involvement, apart from a new training pitch about to be open sometime this year?

I am going to keep the thoughts about Harry leaving or not to myself, but I have to point out (since alot of you tend to believe this) that there is no certainty that a new manager will automatically drop down the table. Atm we still have the same team as last year and if the team (specially the key players) gets behind a new manager we might as well be fighting for 3-4 place next year also.

There are several tactically flaws that costed us several points last season and I am going to point out the most obvious; Had Bale been told to play left where he is truly world class (potential) we would have gotten enough points to secure that 3rd and some more.

I truly believe we have such a good team that a tactically sound manager would thrive with - with the full support of the players of course.

Gonna put my kid to bed now so I am going to piss off - maybe some big news when I get back.

How do I know? Because we were staring relegation in the face, that's how I know. Not strengthening in January was a mistake. Yet considering we've made an overall profit in his time here (I think, might be a narrow loss) and moved up a total of 16 league places, I think he's done very well.

It's easy to say that now. Try adding nearly being imprisoned and having heart surgery performed on you as well. Strain he was under must have been insane.

How do you know he didn't? Bale might have got a bit big for his boots and thought he can play in the centre (which, in case you're reading this Gareth: you can't. Don't worry, I still love you). It's not really the managers fault though, is it? You can't blame Harry for everything. If Ade constantly went missing on tactics that usually worked, how is that Redknapps fault? Blaming the manager for players underperforming on tactics that were working wonders weeks before is ridiculous.

And that's the problem. You want him gone, yet there's no one anyone can think of to want in that's a visual realistic improvement. That is why sacking him will be such a ridiculous decision. We have stability on our side - something Liverpool and Chelsea don't. Why the hell do we want to jepordize that?!

Wait a minute. Ryan said there was a meeting with Levy. Aqkayid said Harry is in the US. Harry is doing commentary for the Euros for the BBC. Where is he?

This is what I am thinking, I may be wrong but I think this is all bullshit again just my opinion. Levy's mother died a couple of weeks ago, Harry has been on holidays and then at the Euros then now supposedly in America?? Doesn't really seem like a time to make such a huge decision in the club?

For one I will be sad to see him go we will have a real problem getting someone in who can do as good a job IMO. Some of the attitudes towards our most successful manager in recent history is just wrong. I could use harsher words, people seem to forget recent history Jol to Ramos, enough said.

If the new manager fails I expect every single one of you who have bashed Redknapp over the past few months to retract statements. Going to be incredibly irritating if we don't hit the ground running (which we won't) for you all to turn round and say 'WAHH WE HAD IT BETTER BEFORE.' No doubt that won't stop some of you though.

This is a bad decision. Really upset if it's true.
And if the new guy is a roaring success I expect you to do a little dance and sing a song slagging H off.

Fans of every other club in England will be laughing at us if its true Harry has gone.

If he goes then I expect Modric, Bale and Van Der Vaart to follow, always 1 step forward and 2 back with us

anyone who thinks it would be good for us if Harry left should note how many rival supporters are overjoyed at the rumours he's leaving
