I think that's probably the biggest moment in our season so far. What a year old Harry's having!!! The man with the Midas touch... :)

For those that were hoping for a guilty verdict, but with some kind of suspended sentence, this was by far the best outcome we could have hoped for. Straight forward, no distractions or disruptions, Harry re-energised with his Heart op and with this monkey off his back, the only way is up!!

As for HMRC there have to be serious questions asked about that rabble of incompetents. To not only bring him to trial but to try and hit him with the biggest stick they had, and to fail, when in all likelihood had they just asked him to pay the tax he would have is frankly inexcusable. I hope heads roll all the way to the top!

I know that Harry to England is logical. But isn't this the exact reason we shouldn't be worried? We're not talking about an organization that is known for doing the right thing.

This is true, I have always thought they wanted Pearce to step-up and become the next manager. Its the sort of thing the FA would do.

You can also count on them being incompetent and squandering money away, up against the mighty Levy I think he could get like £20m compensation out of them!

Harry will be on a high now, maybe we should stick him upfront for the Newcastle game?

Levy will probably want back the money he paid to Portsmouth to get Harry and all the money he's paid Harry in wages since he has been here.

From a Newcastle forum, regarding Saturday evening, posted last night:

Another factor could be the Redknapp trial verdict. If it goes against him Spurs players could be very depressed.

Thinking that it cost us 5m to get Harry, we would want that back, plus say 10m to cancel his contract, plus say 10m to cancel the contract of the next manager we want (Mourinho), 20m should be the bare minimum!!

This will give the club a big boost, this would have been on Harry's mind for god knows how long and I suspect he will feel like a massive weight has been taking off him.

Hopefully he feels refreshed and is refocused on getting us that top 3 spot. The players have said he's been missed so I bet he can't wait to get back to work and normality.

I'm not worried about him getting/taking the England job at all.

In my opinion he will now take the England job in the summer. I'm as certain as I can be about that without actually knowing something.

I think common sense prevails in the end (the motive for harry to evade tax was just not there.), also the fact that the strongest evidence in the case was a NOTW story makes Harry's victory almost certain.

Same. Top-3 finish, CL 2 of past 3 seasons, English, plays good football, players like him, no tax evasion.... the FA have to feel good about endorsing him as England's next manager.
