It's a shame that he can only do the one thing he does well on the pitch, when the conditions favor him. Winks is not a player you bring on when you want to try and win a game, he's the player you bring on when the game is already won and you need to rest your starting CM.

Never thought about that before, but I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of footballers have an "official" twitter account and another one for personal use and people that they actually know.

There's a big difference between not at the level you need and hating a player.
I never understand hating a player that's life long dream was to play for spurs.
He's just like Mason before him. Spurs through and through but not up to our level right now. You can't blame him for yesterday we were equally tragic going forward the whole game.
Hopefully Skipp will be fitter next year and we can sign one or two more options in cm.
We should be working really hard to improve our wing back options this summer. Without a decent threat going forward we're easy to nullify. Who thought Doherty being injured would make such a difference.

One result was his thread from The Fighting Cock, where I spotted ShadyDan’s avatar and that he’d joined and was posting there now (and is as condescending as ever, so hopefully they‘ll maul him about a bit) so that cheered me up from being annoyed by Winks and his inept footballing ways! ??

If I had to sum up Winks to someone with one 5-second clip, I'd show them how easily Iheanacho was able to cut inside onto his stronger foot because Winks has zero ability to read the game and put himself into the right position. Forever chasing shadows.

Don't really bother criticising him anymore because clear as day he just isn't good enough. Almost feel sorry for him trying to compete at this level as some of his play is pretty pitiful. Hopefully won't be seeing him after this season and he can go carve out some kind of career for himself elsewhere.
