always speaks so much sense,so honest, really love it.
I completely understand about a weakened side against Man.U bit of a shame but when he re-moulds our squad hopefully next season if we are in that position we will have the right players to come in and do a job.
Best bit was about Dawson and Woodgate he says we need more players like them and he's so spot on,we need these types of 'winners'. Really love Harry. Poor performance but he's honest and really nails what is wrong instead of pretending there is nothing wrong.

+2, Bentley ran his socks off tonight. I think some people are looking for someone to blame.

The whole team were sloppy in possession, but Bentley made more tackles tonight than in all his previous matches for us combined. He's definitely taken on board what Harry has told him.

Yes, he did play better tonight but he gave up at the crucial moment when he and Gunter were marking Blake and he just thought "Gunter can handle that". Well Gunter couldn't and we conceded.

I thought Zokora was good tonight, even when he played at right back. Surprised Harry didn't mention him with Dawson and Woodgate. At least those guys showed 100% commitment. And it really shows when the attacking players dont show the same sort of commitment. We didn't look at all like scoring tonight, just like the Pompey game. Thats a big concern for me.

?? We should have scored about 5 against Pompey

Harry was right in his words, but didnt comment about how he picked a dodgy line up.

Im going to the fa cup game but IM glad he is putting out fringe players. They might do well if motivated properly and show others how its done. The FA cup is irrelevant now, and so is the Uefa cup to a large extent. We need to pick up some league wins before the cup final otherwise I really do worry for our Prem future.

I thought that was a great interview and well said Harry, especially when he said "some players are playing for there futures at a magnificant club Tottenham Hotspur", or something like that.

Now, those players playing for there Spurs futures???????

Ekotto, Huddlestone, Bentley, Bale............................

I thought Bentley had a good game tonight. He worked hard for the team which i havent seen since he came to Tottenham.

BAE or Bale. I am trying to decide who is the worst left back..... No cant decide.

Bale did play better than previous weeks but surely they MUST teach how to........Pass.........Shoot.............Cross..........Walk with the weaker foot. This guy must have trouble getting out of bed in the morning he is so one footed. Same with BAE.

I also think that Harrys comments were completley justifed. We looked rotten to the core today. Absolutley no Midfield to talk about. Long ball after long ball up to defoe. HE IS FUCKING SMALLER THAN VERNE.

1 year ago we spanked the scummer 5-1 this year we mugged Burnley. Where are we going????? Awnsers on a postcard.

Sorry, but after a non-performance like that, how can anyone say 'Arry is a good man manager. He completely failed to motivate our players tonight.

Having slagged off Cesar - who's played for Real Madrid, Spain and more than 300 times in La Liga - he has no real option but to give Alnwick his debut in a match like that. :bang:

He takes Modric off when we're fighting for our lives. :bang:

He gobshites on about his missus so Darren Bent cries off injured. :bang:

He plays Defoe up front, away from home, by himself. :bang:

Complete rubbish from 'Arry.

I agree that he hasn't done well with the likes of Cesar and the oh-so-fragile-ego of Darren Bent, but the Modric and Defoe decisions today were tactical, nothing to do with his man-management skills.
In fact as far as we know, Modric and Defoe are two players that are on his side.

BTW: Modric looked knackered when he took him off!

I don't know Faz, i still reckon the jury's out on Harry the Comment-Maker, i just don't think he should be 'giving stuff away' live on TV.

Talking about sending out a weakened team on Saturday - i just don;t see the need to mention it!

Besides, right now i'm not sure slating our players (the few that apparently had a sulk on) is the best thing to do, as its just gonna bring their confidence down even more, i know Harry wears his heart on his sleeve, or possibly just doesn't think carefully enough before making a comment, but surely it would've been better to say he's still proud that we pulled it around - then have a word in private with the so-called sulkers.

I just reckon that if the players are down, they'll just give up and concede to the fact that they can always go to another team if Spurs go down!!......no more loyalty left in football rememeber!

Reckon Harry is probably a good man-manager, but needs to keep some things in the dressing room!

No don't pussyfoot with bad attitudes, out the f...kers. Too much player power in football. I think the main problem with Spurs over the years has been we don't have enough winners/personalities in the team. All great teams have at least 3 hard/nutters in the team that the rest are scared of.

i'm just wondering who in the team Harry was slating.

yes we played terrible tonight and was second to every ball.

so who was the team

Alnwick, - not sure what Harry thinks of this fellow but is young and untried at spurs

Gunter, - not sure what Harry thinks of this fellow but is young and untried at spurs

Woodgate, - A Harry favourite

Dawson, - A Harry favourite

Assou-Ekotto, - not sure what Harry thinks of this fellow

Bentley, - We all know Harry thinks David should graft more and tonight he did work hard

Zokora, - A Harry favourite

Huddlestone, - not sure what Harry thinks of this fellow

O'Hara, - A Harry favourite

Modric , - A Harry favourite

Defoe. - A Harry favourite

subs on

(Bale 62) - not sure what Harry thinks of this fellow

(Pavlyuchenko 65) - Harry recons he needs to learn the lingo

(Taarabt 95) - Harry says this guy is a tryer and has great skills

Subs Not Used: Cesar, Giovani, Campbell, Rocha.

SO lots of Harry favs in the team tonight. Who was Harry sniping at?

I think Harry's intention tonight was to rest Pav and only bring him on in an emergency. Considering Pav's already played over a season's worth of games and the fact that we took a three goal lead into tonights game, harry's reasoning, if im right was sound.

I personally thought Zokora was the only Spurs player that could look in the mirror and say he gave his all.

Woodgate-I've been saying for a while now, is just collecting a pay cheque each week, he does not galvanize the team enough and at times, his defending seems questionable.

Not only Woodgate though there are others that need a kick up the back side or kicked out.

Actually I don't agree Woody didn't do much wrong tonight. I dont see why people say he had a crap game. If anything it was the creative influence that was lacking today.

Modric looked out on his feet, I am suprised he played tonight.

What a signing Pav is turning out to be !!!!

The mods have had to close the Transfer rumour thread too much talk about tonights match.......

Let Harry slag them off, they deserve it.

Too many managers make excuses on behalf of their players, but this bunch only have themselves to blame.

Simple truths hurt sometimes.

I'm not saying that we should pussyfoot around with bad attitudes, all i'm saying is that i think its ok to say one thing to the press (especially in live TV interviews), but then say what you really think in the dressing room - in private!!

I just don't think Harry should be providing vulture reporters with ammunition against Spurs and our players!

You can just imagine tomorrows tabloid headline: "Redknapp says only Dawson and Woodgate are good players at Spurs, everyone else is crap!!"
They already like having a pop at us on a regular basis, i just don't want to see our players OR our manager being made fools of.

Moan fucking moan.

That is all I am hearing!!

If we'd scored one at half time, and one at 90 mins would you still be moaning?

JESUS CHRIST!

GET OVER IT. WE ARE THROUGH!

WE KILLED THEM AT OUR PLACE, AND OVER THE ALLOTTED TIME WE NOT ONLY BEAT THEM, WE PUT ANOTHER PAST THEM!

You obviously wanted another Arsenal/5-1 type game, but you fail to see that the game lasts as long as the game lasts, and it is those with belief and ultimate desire who win games.

Last minute or no last minute. WE ARE THROUGH TO THE FINAL.

AGAIN.

ENOUGH ALREADY WITH THE BAD CHAT ABOUT OUR PLAYERS.

Or there will be more UPPER CASE in you FACE!

im with the boys tp above, zoko run his socks off tonight and even got a shot on target:eek:mg:. it cant be him who's sulking. i think it showed we need a better back up keeper tonight even though it wasn.t the best game(in hindsight) to throw the boy in. Thudd, o'hara and defoe done next to nothing tonight, although to be fair it's not the best ploy to put our smallest striker up front on his own and it was a good finish by him. Tarabaat looked ok considering he hasn't played for a while. i wonder who's got the strop on? my moneys on the thudd
