Has it been a good season?

If we finish 3rd it will still be a good season, but bloody hell it won't feel like one.

We'd all have taken 3rd at the start of the season, regardless of who finished above us, and we cannot forget that if it all does go wrong on the last day.

But it will feel like an absolute disaster going from being in the title race to finishing below Arsenal based on a very poor end to the season.

Of course it has.

At the beginning of the season, I was hoping for a top four place and CL football for the next. We have achieved that. I understand the disappointment for the outcome of the last few games but we shouldn't let that cloud our judgment.

I had not expected to see such stunning and entertaining football from such a young side and we have had plenty of that this season and I'm sure there will be more to come under MoPo's guidance. Spurs have come so much further than I expected and the future looks really promising and we are going to be a force to be reckoned with.

The team has had to scale a steep learning curve and the mistakes they have made should help these youngsters to learn, mature and develop. There has been wonderful team spirit, these lads actually like each other!

We have had a good season. In fact, an excellent season overall and I'm proud of our team and how far they have come in such a short time.

The strange thing is I haven't celebrated securing group CL yet. When we beat citah with crouch's goal I was bouncing around like a loon, How weird that I am a bit deflated, hopefully a 2nd place finish and finishing above the arse will bring out the bubbly!

This season has been like going out for the night, meeting up with your mates, having a few laughs and a bit of banter, drinking a few beers, hitting a club, chatting up a good looking sort, going back to her place, having some great sex, having her twin sister join you for a threesome, heading home, tripping over the kerb and falling into a huge pile of horse shit right in front of your mates.

All they will ever remember and all they'll ever talk about is you falling into the shit. And it's possible that you might be of a mind set just to remember that too. Me, I'd rather try to focus on the fantastic sex that came before it.

Well I enjoyed the 6 game winning run, or whatever it was. Does that count as a season?

Feels like an abject failure now. To think we could have won something with this group of players this year, but in the end we came nowhere near and capitulated in the worst possible way.

Our newly promoted manager must take some of the responsibility, I said at the beginning of the season that our squad was too small and we didn't have back up in key positions. We got away with it at times, especially up front. But I honestly think it's let us down massively. The fact we were left with Mason replacing Dembele, and Onomah and Carrol being the plan b says it all. No offence to any of them, but they aren't going to turn games around.

Hopefully lessons will be learned. I have a horrible feeling that they won't be though.

It has been but it feels disappointing still.

Could have gone top, didn't. Could have kept pushing the leaders, didn't. Could have finished 2nd, didn't.
Alli and Dembele suspended for silliness. League Cup line up vs Arsenal. Line up and performance vs Dortmund (why not just go out to Fiorentina if you're going to prioritise?!). Loss of focus since the WBA game. And today.

To counter it: CL football for next season, Poch and team new contracts and new stadium coming up.

Next season will be exciting, this season was as well - some of the performances were excellent, no doubt about it, but it's ended badly and the weak mentality needs to go.

League Cup - Very disappointing
FA Cup - disappointing
Europa League - disappointing
All negative because of weakened sides being played at the time of going out.
League - Very good overall. Slightly skewed this season due to the bigger sides not performing but we showed the traditional nerves and subsequent collapse when it mattered.

Had the bigger sides performed as normal then today would have seen us miss out on 4th. Next season we will do well to finish top 4.

A month ago the boys had me convinced this was the start. I don't believe that's the case anymore.

I don't think it will sink in that it was still a good season until the players are lined up with the CL anthem playing for the first time next year. Until then? Don't even want to think about football. Killed my desire completely...I'm not even excited for EURO 2016 anymore.

I expected us to finish 6th and play ok football, we finished 3rd and played great football for the most part, even my Liverpool fan friends will admit that, so yeah, great season. Could've been better obviously but it exceeded my expectations.

Yes its been a good season, but you cant fail so abysmally at the end and claim it has been a great one. 1 point was all it needed to make the jump to a great season.

Well on current form the Spurs players in the England team aren't exactly going to light up the tournament.

I'm not English so I'm not so concerned about that...I just usually love international football and there's nothing like the buildup to a tournament. I like watching all our players for all the teams. Just don't even care at the moment.

Since the West Brom result, Euro 16 is all I've been thinking about to be honest! Right now I can't wait for it.
Our shenanigans over the last few weeks hasn't killed my desire for football right now, just my desire for Spurs. Fair play to them though in a way. I never thought they could surpass the lasagne gate season or the 'didn't buy in January' season under Harry. This lot have taken the next step! Surely this collapse can't be "bettered"?
