I work nights and working last night and working tonight but I still go to every home game (season ticket holder) and watch every away game.
Set my alarm, got up early at 16.15 turned on the TV excited to see another battling NLD. TV was off and I was back in bed by 5pm, never done that before, never turned a game off before the end let alone before the end of the first half but I honestly couldn't watch any more, it was so so woeful and depressing.
Of course nobody wants to lose games but I always say that if we are outplayed but out the effort in or are unlucky (IMO) then I don't get too upset... But currently the team just look disinterested and like they don't actually give a toss what happens, not acceptable in any way whatever their abilities they shoukd be busting a gut when on the pitch.
The only player I saw actually trying in the first 30 mins was Lucas.

I had to watch it on a slight delay as I was at my kid’s game. First time I’ve ever stopped watching after 30 mins and just jumped to 90 mins to check the score.

I’ve hardly watched is this season, not even highlights.

pretty shit fan, but these last 2 years have been awful, finally after years of waiting for a season ticket, I get my shot and I turned it down.

never in my whole life has I felt this frustrated by our club

Yep bang on.

Nelson and Saha in January when Redknapp needed players for a title push when he had us in 3rd.

Poch needed more investment and squad depth.

Sacking managers so close to cup semi and finals and then surprised when we go on to lose those games with a new guy who’s been in charge about 2 weeks.
Nailed it, absolutely nailed it. This is the fundamental reason. The time to invest is to put you over the top and we constantly don’t do this.

Switched off after 25 mins
never left earlyior switched a game off in my entire life but the Chelsea game wound me up so much and this was going to be worse I could tell within 5 mins.
This group of players do not deserve to give me high blood pressure and rage so fuck them ?

I will add imo that 433 is a very attacking formation and will never work with a 11 men in you're own half defend first attitude.
I personally think nuno is out of his depth and that makes me sad also.

Spurs have been a enormous part of my life for over 40 yrs but now for the first time I am beginning to say fuck it I can't be arsed Mainly because I see a group of players who can't be arsed.

Watching Brentford the other night was far more entertaining and enjoyable ?

Over the last few years ive only watched games involving spurs bar the occassional "big" game. This season ive so far only watched the Man City game live. Like others i always used to make sure i was back from whatever it was i was doing, rushed the family fun day to a close because spurs were on at a set time and i absolutely couldnt watch it on even a 15 minute delay. Now i can honestly say that i dont care one jot that im not tuned in. Yes i still check the score every 10 minutes but the thought of watching this group of players strolling about, looking like they'd rather be back playing cricket at Hotspur way rather than trying to entertain 60k fans week in week out is soul destroying.

Maybe in the long run its good that ive finally come to the realisation that there are far more important things to worry about or to put it another way, far more important things to get enjoyment out of than cheering on a bunch of tossers that have more money in their Aston Martin ash tray's than i have in my bank account.

I’m on holiday at the moment and actually forgot the NLD was even on. Would normally find somewhere showing the game and watch it, but with the time difference I completely forgot until 10 minutes from the end. I just don’t care anymore.
Used to go about a dozen times a year, but cancelled my membership and despite missing catching up with a few mates, I have no intention of going again anytime soon.
My love of football has dwindled over the last 10 years or so, but my love affair with Tottenham has crashed this last 2-3.
the new stadium is impressive and a novelty to startwith, but it’s what’s on the pitch that counts, and I really have no connection with the players anymore.

SC is probably the only thing that keeps me interested anymore.

I think the thing that has hit me hardest is that I really bought into the ideal that we could be self sustaining and grow organically, paying within a budget rather than trying to spend like the big boys, and it would eventually get us to the top. We were so close too, but now I feel kind the entire Pochettino era and hitting the jackpot with Kane merely papered over a severely flawed/ naive approach, or worse, that there was never really a will to do anything more than increase the brand.

I think up until this summer’s manager search I was able to think ‘ok, summer 18 was a mess but generally we’ve always tried to improve the squad and since then have almost completely rejuvenated it, but we’ve got it wrong on a few big buys, a few long contracts and a bad managerial choice after Pochettino.’ Now I just feel like the stars aligned for a period, we didn’t take advantage and now we’re swinging back towards obscurity in much the same fashion as we did between the end of the 80s and the beginning of this century.

Worst of all, the mental choice I have now is to find a way to reignite my belief in a system which just isn’t working, or abandon the ideals I’ve invested in for so long and hope for the sugar daddy that I’ve so expressly despised at other clubs. I’m not sure I’ve really got the heart for either.

The apathy is huge. Going on Sunday to watch the Villa game now more excited to see what the Beavertown pub is like than to about going to the match.

Meh.

Cancelled membership and no interest in going to games. Did a league table of teams most watchable and had Spurs around 18th. Genuinely feel like Burley produce a more attractive product in the field than us.

Obviously I made a fairly big thing a couple of weeks ago about breaking my usual family routine and not going to watch the Chelsea game at my parents' house etc, and quite enjoyed completely avoiding the game.

Yesterday I did return to routine because it was Arsenal - I can't imagine not watching that game. And for some reason, I genuinely thought it was going to be 1-1. Thought we'd look to be solid for a good 30mins and try and hit them on the break, that they'd struggle to break us down (because Arsenal are shit), and that both managers would eventually accept a draw.

I pretty much watched the entire thing with my jaw on the floor. It was impossible to predict just how bad we were going to be - I never expected a performance like that. I'm the last person to knee-jerk but Nuno has the hollow-eyed thousand yard stare of a broken man who has lost the dressing room already - I've never seen that happen so quickly, anywhere.

Anyway, I keep watching us. I think it's in the hope I'll see some form of improvement, something to build on, something to generate some hope. I have to try and avoid reminding myself how good we were just a few years ago.

But it's got to be said - I can see myself avoiding our games in the future. Given we've got yet another stupid pointless hateful international break coming up - and considering what the last one did to us - I can see myself shutting football off entirely for the next few weeks. I haven't watched a single Match of the Day or Football Focus all season - which I used to watch both of religiously. I simply have very little interest in the sport at the moment.

Sums up how I feel brilliantly, I actually prefer not watching at the moment.

someone else said it earlier, I’m getting more enjoyment watching Brentford play, a team playing for each other and their club

Bobbins has nailed it. In a very similar situation here.

I made the decision earlier on in the week that I wasn't going to watch the game yesterday. The golf was on and although it didn't go the way I would have hoped, I definitely enjoyed the high calibre of golf on display.

Spurs has effected my mood and form for far too long. With young kids, I just can't be bothered to feel like that any more.

Last week v Chelsea, the week before v Palace. Those were it for me. Pathetic performances. I didn't watch the Wolves game midweek, instead kept an eye on the score, and watched the penalties.

The difference in my form yesterday and how I feel this morning, even after a heavy defeat to Arsenal, my wife thought we'd won.

So I'm really not bothered now. But I'll enjoy the time out from watching. I'll make the most of the extra time with my family.

That might make me fairweather. So be it. It's not fair on my family if something I can't control puts me in a bad mood. I'm taking the control back. For the good of my family.

The club aren't bothered about us. Why should we be bothered about them?

It's a crying shame that it's come to this. We shouldn't feel that way, but an increasingly large number of people do.

I'm not sure how much more damning an indictment of his leadership you can get. Shame on you Levy

Eh. Levy’s laughing all the way to the bank. He doesnt give a shit abouf Spurs whatsoever. His stadium now has boxing & nfl. He’ll up his bonus another £10m now with those proceeds.

Brentford are immensely more enjoyable to watch. Not only that, they’d probably beat us 5-0.
