In these troubled and worrying times we can ask is Berbs going to stay? Will we sign a pair of Russians? When is that defensive midfielder going to arrive?
But noone is asking the right question.... where is the soothsayer Dan Ashcroft to guide us through these murky waters and encourage us that everything is going to be alright?

We hung on his every syllable, we rejoiced when he told us the club's plans, we knew our transfer plans were sailing confidently towards the promised land of the new season, but now we're in an inflateable dinghy and the sharks are circling... so come back Dan...we need you more than ever!
