Yeah but based on the game before that he should'nt be.

That shows the futility of rating a player based on one game.

Or basing your opinion on what everybody else is saying... If someone on the coaching staff thinks he is highly rated then he must be showing something in training and just needs experience and confidence, not slagging off and booing when he makes a mistake or two

Haha, if thats directed at me you really have the wrong fella:grin:

P.S. I would never boo a Spurs player as long as I live.

Harry comes from a background where players can make some mistakes. He is yet to get used to the ramdom bullshit spewed out by a very vocal minority at Spurs. BAE has played well a few times, yet on here some total knobjockey will always give him a 4/10.

Well I suppose we'll just have to wait and see how it pans out.

Who knows perhaps Benny will show Arry he is fully committed to the cause and willing to work hard and will perform well. Personally cant see that happening in a million years but we'll wait and see:wink:

Just sounds like someone went to the Bolton game. BAE did in fact have one of his best performances for us, Gomes had a shocker, Lennon started the game on the bench, Pav and Bent both scored. It wasn't even 'Arry that picked the side. On the other aspect i hope either Les or Teddy comes back

EDIT TO AVOID CONFUSION!

POSTED BY JASPER ON SO AND THEN POSTED ON COYS:

"Very interesting indeed. As some of you may be aware, I know the family of Sir Les, and go back to past posts you will see this.

Archie has already stated that he's in talks, and I can say that he has said yes, subject to his Setanta/media work contract commitments...

This bit above has me confused.
Does it mean that Archie has stated that Sir Les is in talks or does it mean that someone called Archie is in talks...?

The Bostock bit sounds plausible. It is much what was told to Taarabt. It is is conceivable that Ramos was less inclined to go along with such arrangements than Jol.

I agree BAE has been fairly average in many games i've seen, but the second half of the Bolton game was the best I have seen from him and surprised me alot! Kinda reminded me of Clichy and he also did a good job on Kev Davies. I think just wait and see how he goes in the next few games before slagging him off!

BAE rated highly? Wait til Arry see's him play a few games:rofl:

He played at Fratton Park a little while ago and Harry would have seen for himself how bad he was that day. If he thinks he's seen something in him other than pace then good luck!

i would rather it was kept to himself completely....nothing wrong with gomes!!! he is quality, did he concede sunday? no.... and yet again made some outstanding saves....

as for lennon, he is quality and i am sure he will enjoy his time more under 'arry'

Once the defence is sorted out, we will see the best of Gomez, that was the gist of what Harry was saying.
He (Harry) reckons that Gomez is a brave keeper, who does anything to stop the opponents from having a shot on goal!
And he can see him becoming a world class keeper, while at Spurs.

(I did hear today, that Bent could be gone in the Jan window ).

Lennon is coming back to his best alright.

The problem is, that even at his best [to date] he is still just an average footballer

Archie is an ITK on Spurs Odyssey and he is saying that Sir Les is in talk about coming in as a coach.

I did say a few days ago that I wouldn't be surprised if Sir Les was going to come in and it looks like i'm right.

I'm not ITK, but maybe I should have said I was.
