Weather all the England manager talk in the press was to blame for unsettling our squad and for the dramatic loss of form or not is up for debate, but it does make me worry about the effect the process of Woy being interviewed and potentially offered the England job by the FA will have on WBA's run in.. including final day of the season game against Arsenal which could be crucial in deciding our Champions league fate!

Be typical of our luck.. the England Managers job has potentially been our downfall this season and there's the chance just as we get back into fighting form it's going to come back and bite us once again!!!

How about we take blame for a poor run and not try and blame others? if Harry being linked to england really did have that effect then out players really need to stop being so pathetic as managers, players and coaching staff are always being linked away.

Hopefully West Broms players aren't as 'pathetic' if it goes to the wire on the final day is all I'm saying.

If Roy is given the England job it may be that he is desperate to go out of with a bang at West Brom, the media will be watching with intent ready to crucify him for any reason after all including final games with WBA.

I'd actually expect West Brom's chances of beating Arsenal have improved with this speculation. I'm pretty sure the players would want to give him a great send off, and I'm sure Hodgson will be well up for motivating his players. Before this latest news it was just going to be a nothing game for them - now it's potentially a grand finale to Roy Hodgson's time at the Hawthorns.

curely it has helped? harry flirting with the england job has possibly taken his eye off his current job and in my eyes he is fighting for his employment. finish any lower than 4th and i can see levy giving him the bye bye.

Our chances of finishing 3rd were scuppered a month ago, you can blame ( Harry, The Fa, The Refs or the team, take your pick) but some how we have thrown away a lead that should have made us nailed on for third. This news has no bearing on the outcome now, we are in a fight for 4th, and a very tough fight at that. 3rd unfortunately is out of sight.

No it's not, we need to win on Wednesday, do that and we're a point from third, then play two very much winnable games, away to Villa and home to Fulham, whilst Arsrnal face Norwichvat home and WBA away. So, its very much not out of sight.

unfortunately we need the norwich of WHL rather than the one against liverpool. West brom without hodgson wont be the same either but any team wants to win in front of their fans on the last day so hopefully arsenal get complacent

Now poor old Woy is getting the blame for us possibly not finishing 3rd, even though he manages West Brom?

QPR, Sunderland and Norwich were all very winnable or at least drawable games, we struggled in all 3. 1 point from those three effectively ended our chances of 3rd. Bolton away will be tough as will Villa away. We struggle to break teams down who play 10 behind the ball, we should have put 4 past Blackburn yesterday. Our goal difference is now worse than Arsenal and the Chavs.
Cannot see Arsenal not picking up at the very least 4 points, and with the Chavs run of luck i can see them pushing all the way for 4th.

Chelsea play Newcastle midweek, and although they lost 4-0 the other day, it won't be an easy game for Chelsea.

We played well yesterday and that should really have given the players a massive boost of confidence needed for the final push. Up until yesterday we had been playing with no confidence and it was evident. On another day we would have put 4 past Blackburn, we hit the bar twice and had Lennon been able to finish any of his good work he could have had a hatrick himself.

You could have said before the weekend that Arsenal would beat Stoke, they only drew.

I know the games we have won't be easy, but if we put in performances as good as yesterday we will win all three. We had a bit of swagger back yesterday and the players looked like they had their belief back.

Also, QPR and Sunderland are both very good at home, so weren't as winnable as the next two away games, so they weren't really a great example.

I think we were made to look good by a very, very poor Blackburn team, possibly the worst team i have seen in a long time. Had it not been for a wonder goal from Walker, i really couldnt see us getting the 2nd goal. Yes we were good in the first half, and unlucky to hit the woodwork twice, but we really struggled with all our possesion to really create too many good chances second half. We do not finish teams off.
We didnt look vulnerable at the back simply because Blackburn offered NOTHING. Bolton will push us more, and Rose looked shaky at the back. Villa will stick 10 behind the ball like Sunderland and try not to lose. Both Sunderland and QPR were there for the taking, yet we couldn't break them down.

I really hope you are right, but i can see us dropping some points from the next 2 games.
