Why was it so flat for such a huge game?

nervousness and it is always flat until the players get us going, rightly or wrongly. We react to what is going on on the pitch.
I was at the game (south lower) it was absolutely buzzing down there for most of the game and we clapped the players off

Perhaps if the ticket prices were lower, real fans could go. Even when we were leading 1-0 people looked bored.
I remember when we were shit we didnt have such entitlement in regards to having a decent atmosphereWorks both ways. Players were very disappointing in such an important game.
Players looking nervous does clearly rub off on the crowd.
Since Harry the atmosphere hasnt been the same, there have been one or two games but the fans have been shit in general especially when you compare it to the Jol era or even the early Ramos eraI find the insinuation that people who can afford a ticket/season ticket as not "real fans" either naive or insulting. Happy to give you the benefit of the doubt.
