How do you think Glenn Hoddle would go as DOF at Spurs?

No no no no no.

Hoddle should never have a position with our club, he doesn't have what it takes - and as soon as we have a bad run there would be a bunch of misguided fans calling for him to take over.

Have him as some kind of ambassador maybe. Anything more? Never.

As much as hoddle was my hero growing up I'd have to agree with this

There is no way that Glenn and Tim Sherwood could work together again after the falling out they had when Hoddle was manager.

Non starter for me.

king was never really on the international scene, and Steve Perryman was a good honest 1st Division player; never world class.

And being on the international scene makes you world class?

Peter Crouch says hi

And we're not disrespecting him as a player, for what we are all fond of, but as the useless **** he was as a manager.

Prefer Sherwood

Glenn was a great player for us but a poor manager and I don't want to see him tarnished any more

Would love to have Glenn Hoddle connected with the club again,
but DoF would be completely wrong position.
If anything I can see him doing an excellent job as a player developer in our youth set up.

Good player, but he is an example of a manager who does not have a good sense of what a good team is.

Doesn't matter which job you gave him at the club, he will still be out on the pitch saying to VDV and Bale "You don't do it like that, you do it like this. What can't you even do this!":eek::eek:

That's why I wouldn't want him near our weaker or youth players. Have heard many times he uses his 'ability' not to coach or help people, but rather to make them look stupid.

Not very motivational is it?

And yet, seemingly, he is really good in this last chance saloon academy thang he set-up
Maybe he has mellowed (y)

It actually is a lot worse a suggestion. Gio has ..... Potential. Glenn's well past that stage.

The bicycle kicks will be a thing of the past but I bet he could still take a corner that makes it past the first man and better free kicks than anyone in our first team .
