How does Pochettino feel about Levy?

Agree and when it happens Levy will deflect all blame

It's his old 'rattling his keys to entertain a kitten' trick. As soon as the mood becomes hostile enough, he'll wheel in the next Messiah to keep us all distracted for a few more months.

A real shame, because whilst I'm not a big Pochettino fan, I would like to see him properly assisted by Levy in order to have a real chance of building something. I wonder how many of the current squad would become deadwood needing to be shifted when the next sacrificial lamb is led to the slaughter?

WBA chairman has successfully destroyed our club policy.

This after Saints pissed all over us last year.

Someone will still want to work for us when the time comes, but I can't imagine who.

I'm still astounded that we wait until the very last couple of days to do business when it was so clear last season what we needed. And the fact Poch said he would like to do business early so all the players knew each other and trained together before the season started.

Oh well let's hope Clinton and Son can bring in the goals and assists

I really cant see how we were expected to get important deals done on deadline day. Its absurd to try to do business at a club this size on the last day of the transfer window and expect to get a good deal. What was Levy thinking? Its hurt our plans, its no doubt affected Poch and its put undue pressure on him now with the same expectations yet with less players and the right ones at that.
Its a bad transfer summer, no 2 ways about it.

I'm wondering if its wise to try and get Ade back onside and give him a shirt number and send him out in the cup games. We will need more than 1 out and out striker without a doubt and not having Ade at least registered and given a squad number would be suicidal at that stage now.
Poch had better start practising his saluting.

hopefully the goals do come, otherwise then tension between Levy and Poch will be evident. I am still shocked that he wasn't backed in the transfer market 'properly' to implement his plan. You don't clear out all that deadwood and only get half the players in. you need to get the players he needs in early and not leave it to the last minute so a disaster like this happens.. it doesn't help the manager and it harms the club in the long run.

I don't know. It seems that that a CDM and Forward as been on the cards for ages. The problem is we don't know what has been happening behind the scenes. Some people have accused of us of having a scattergun approach to targets, especially when Wayama stuff came to fruition a few days ago. Yet Le Tiss said we made a offer early last month.

no we dont know what happened behind the scenes, but the last minute bid for Kouyate was real apparently, and smacks of desperation. thats a WTF, to me.

Looking forward to his bullshit statement tomorrow. Talking to us like we are 5 year olds, mentioning we must remember that Jim the teamaker can play upfront in an emergency and the stadium is the priority not a winning football team!

I suspect doesn't feel any different that he did 24 hours ago, Poch is the one making all the noises about signing the right player and if he doesn't feel the right player is available then there's no point signing him. I think Poch is on the same page as Levy and understands the way he works and the way we work as a club.

I would like to see if there will be any so called ITK or news stories coming out on 'oh they were never our targets in the first place' - yet at the same time we now know that we did in fact go for plenty of players but never firmed up our offers or offered derisory amounts.

Seriously, if going for Kouyate on deadline day or offering to buy Wanyama for less than what Saints paid for him, isn't a scattergun desperation approach then I'd like to know what is.
And if its true that we only offered WBA 5M up front that's pretty shocking if it turns out to be correct, I really hope that wasn't the case otherwise Levy will really have completely effed up the Club's stature and decency.

the worst thing for me is not who we brought in, its the fact they chance it to leave this fucking waste of space to keep collecting 100k a month, they shouldve just given him away, now hes stinking up the place.

There are a lot of "ifs" in there, truth is, Poch said in preseason that he wanted a smaller squad, he has also spoke abotu the "right" player on many occasions. Something doesn't sit right with me with the Saido deal, Jeremy Pearce said that he told Levy the amount he wanted for Saido, he apparently allowed us to talk to the palyer and alledgedly do part of a medical. He then told the media the player wasn't for sale. In the short term yes we are left short up front but in the long term, if we can keep Kane fit, we should be ok till the January transfer window.

Then why go in desperate on the last day we should have matched what West Bron were looking for two weeks ago or walked away and concentrated elsewhere.
You're missing the point. If he was THE player that we wanted, and we didn't want to settle else where what do you do? A few weeks ago everyone believed the story the ITKs were telling us, that he's had part of his medical and agreed terms, none of which would happen without WBAs permission, and then Peace starts with his statements. Now the revisionist version is all that's being talked about we only bid on the last day and we knew what we had to bid and never did it. I don't think that's true. Peace's approach matched with the ITK and Berahino's tweet seem to quite clearly point to us seeming like we were going to be able to make a deal before Peace shifted things. If Peace was saying £30m should we have paid it? What if we were only willing for max £23m? Perhaps we thought they'd soften their stance the longer it went on. It's not so clear cut.
