It's bollocks.

If we'd have kept him he'd be wanking off about the training centre like everyone else.
You now sound like a bitter fan

Lets be honest the club doesnt look like he has much soul around the place. IMO we have more talent then we have had before but they have got anywhere near the atmosphere, determination and etc the shite teams of the past 10 years had

You're sound bitter because he's saying bad something about the club and you don't like it. Not because he left for another team but whatever

You'd think after all the club has been through the past season and a half a couple of home truths from an ex player and academy graduate would resonate

Come on now, beats1. Steve Bruce is a shit manager and Hull can't even fill their stadium.

I have no idea what you're on about tbh beatsy. :D
Fair enough but I agree with Livermore that the club does feel soulless atm and the squad doesnt seem together as these articles/threads being posted claims they are

I agree with you but that doesnt mean what livermore said isn't true. Just because he said something that people don't like doesnt mean its not true or dismiss his comments because he is a shit player.

If he said something great then people on here would be lapping it up.

They are shit but you look at the atmosphere around our club, for example what it was like when AVB took over and now. TBH there isn't much I like about the club now, everything is becoming a joke

This isn't one of those Harry was created a great atmosphere(because things weren't great under him either), even the actions of the club piss me off, not just with the stuff to do with football.

I hate liverpool but their owners and managers do make a more of an effort in relation with the atmosphere around the club and with the fans.

That 2007 team had shit players in the first 11 that wouldnt get in to our squad now but the atmosphere around the squad, club and etc was much better

The so called shit from 2007 that included King, Bale, Berbatov, Woodgate and Keane.. I think most would give their right arm now for players of this quality..

Makes you think of how shit the rest of them were?

This was also when Bale had yet to win a match in a Tottenham shirt. We had the Brazilian wonder of Gilberto getting games, and Alan Hutton was our new big-money right back. We could've played a midfield four of Gilberto, Zokora, Jenas, O'Hara. King played 4 league matches (Probably 4 wins that saved us from relegation )...

There is obviously a problem with the atmosphere around the club from the players to the fans at the moment, but none of that has anything to do with us having someone like Redknapp or Sherwood in charge.

We all know why Redknapp was sacked, and Sherwood was clearly never a long term option anyway so I'm not quite sure what the point is there.

For me the bad atmosphere comes from the fans expecting too much and some of our players (quite a few of our players in fact) having a dreadful attitude.

I'm hoping that rooting out those players will enable us to build a younger, hungrier side that will get the crowd going a bit more. That's what I'm hoping Poch has been hired to do.

Haven't watched much of jake since he left but I thought he played very well in Harry's last season whenever he came on.

As for their comments on spurs, I thought this was interesting:

TH: In his four years, we finished fourth twice and fifth once. I think clubs get above their station a little bit. Realistically, him finishing fourth for Tottenham is a great achievement. They can’t really be expecting to finish in the top two or three. It was a strange one.

JL: Redknapp gave me my first breakthrough, so for that I will always be thankful. He was a great man-manager – sometimes I think the game can be over-thought.

But it was the same with Tim Sherwood. He brought players back from the dead almost and spent no money. But sometimes if you are outspoken and your face doesn’t fit, It’s not good enough for the board at Tottenham."

It seems like he's implying Harry/Tim were sacked for potentially non footballing reasons and I can only find myself agreeing. It seems levy loves a smooth talking continental manager that preaches philosophy and dimensions over better results and smart ass London geezas. Not good for sponsors? Who knows. But interesting nonetheless.
Levy likes yes men, he doesn't want bosses who will criticise him for doing shit like last minute bids Damiao. He even takes banners away from supporters who want him out.

He talks about Bruce talking and having a joke or two with the squad. Some players take to different levels of contact from the manager. Some prefer an arm around them and other possibly a kick up the arse.

Funny how it appears that he feels that some managers "over complicate" the game and that (Redknapp i guess) just wanted the players to express themselves on the pitch. With laptop AVB and stat man Poch, it does make a fan wonder if there is more to that statement than meets the eye.

At the end of the day both wanted first team football and were motivated to move away from the club and it's new gin palace of a training ground in order to do so. From what i see of them on the pitch on Sunday, i just wish that some of our fancy dans played with their passion and commitment.

As a Spurs fan i wish them much success as they came to Spurs and tried to make us a better team, whether that worked out is debatable but there are far too many fans in here who appear at ease just to make snide comments that are wholly unfounded and immature imo.

I have heard on the grapevine that Livermore was no fan of AVB's tactics.

I think there is a lot of truth /how they felt I don't remember when huddlestone was signed but jol did give players a chance and was building something.
Jol should have been backed he had us over achieving, Rednapp could still be at spurs if he had not got distracted with the England job. Jol was the only manager I felt sorry for if we had signed a exp defender and a replacement for Carrick we would have been ok. The truth is we chop and change we don't have enough continuity year on year we have forgotten the long term plan.

I think poch needs time I believe he will come good and he needs a clear out of players and lots of time.

Livermore and HUD I am sure where bang on about a lot of things but I don't believe Livermore was as good as Parker or sandro although he did make some good cameos and understood his job role give the ball to Modric. But sandro was a better ball winner but Livermore moved the ball quicker.

I am sure the club has lost it's family ness as we have grown I think we do need to go backwards now to go forwards we need less players to bring though youth and a manager who unites us who knows the youth team and first team inside out. So there is a direction a purpose, continuity each season and a style of play though the club. This will take time and by changing our managers and players so much we loose identity and a club sense community from the youth team though to the first team though to the staff and fans.
