That was January 2009, and it was never clear if we were actually interested or Aulas wanted rid and was trying to drum up interest via l'Equipe. He was trying to play us off against another club, I seem to recall. I've also got a feeling that he went AWOL, which ended speculation.

Complete nutter, and useless. I'd much sooner take a punt on the Cam.
