In what has been a very average season for us so far I noticed how well we have done so far against the red rose sides! Beat Liverpool twice; Bolton, Blackburn, Burnley, Wigan, Man City, drew with United and Wigan and only lost to Everton. Who said we struggle against those from the cold harsh north:)

The argument against that is.... Liverpool (twice), Bolton, Blackburn, Burnley, Wigan (cup) and Utd were all at home. City were the only team we beat away, and they're pretty shit. And they finished with 9 men. And still we were hanging on at the end.

But apart from that....

I actually feel quite positive about tomorrow. I think we have a good record against Wigan generally and although we do usually perform a bit shit away against Northern teams, i just have a sneaky feeling we'll win 2-1 (Pav & Defoe). Or 2-0 (Defoe x 2). Or 6-1 (Defoe, Pav, Modric, Gomes x 3).

That's the spirit, bring 'em on!

Alternatively, on a more pragmatic note - I'd take advice from your sig!
