I have given my definition of how I think wealth should be accumulated and spent in an ideal society. Are you suggesting having an opinion on these issues is not legitimate?
hmm no. true.

I think that may be a bit unfair on United. The reason they are where they are has a lot to do with Fergie. You can argue the money they've spent they've earned and their signings have been backed up by some incredible home-grown players. I have no love to Utd, but it's not the same as Chelsea or Man City. Same goes for Arsenal, unfortunately.Supporting/following any of the top three super rich clubs must be a very shallow experience.

EDIT: To add, Utd have arguably been hampered by big, seemingly rich foreign owners. Saddled with debt repayments etc etc.
i personally dont know how sh*tty and chelski fans go to sleep at night. over the past few years our club has been on the rise while established clubs like the scum have been on the decline - this is without the masses of wealth that they have (relative to us). we've achieved this on our own merit showing us that we needn't waste our times thinking about the wealth that we could have had and instead should focus on building on what we have the way we have been as it has been showing positive results. if it aint broke, dont fix it!
Funny thing is that Levy is just a frugal version of Abrahmovic. Both are cases of owners getting way too involved in the football side of the club and football decision making.
I don't trust Levy, but if we had Ambrovich even more of our fans would turn into spoilt brats.
Any chief exec, Levy is not an owner per say, worth his salt - cant get "too" involved.
.
I know what he is achieved but no one is above criticism, I remember all that business of going behind Jol's back to tap up Ramos. At the moment I think we have a good manager who could be our manager for many years to come. He has told by Levy to get top four, I feel he's come into the season with one hand tied behind his back and still has it tied behind the back. If he doesn't get top four I don't trust to keep him on. I think his expectations should be realistic, we haven't bought Moutinho, we lost our 2 best players, we only have two strikers, one of which may be going to the ANC, leaving us with one striker. I think it is amazing we have done this well so far.Perhaps it's wise just to focus on what Levy has achieved in his decade in charge.
Why do you not "trust" Levy. Personally I think the fact he wants to profit from THFC's success financially has helped make him steer the club in the right direction.
Those who disregard any cup which is not the premier league or champions league and think they have an automatic right to be top four, I'm grateful to be in the Europa cup, let alone the CL.Not sure what you mean by the spoilt brats comment.
