... depending on how much they can afford, we should be able to provide quite of financing for the new stadium. That way the club can keep the stadium's old name and instead of paying loans and interest could spend the money for better players and help improving the community in the area by financing different projects. I think that would be unprecedented as well. Thoughts?

I'll pay £200 but I want it called Michael's White Hart Lane just for one match

An admirable idea, very difficult to make work though.

However no harm in trying, contact the club and ask them to set up a paypal account or something called "Stadium fund" and I'll defo chip in (y) at the very least though I want a brick with my name on!

I'd donate money to a safe standing section with a proper name, like the Bill Nicholson stand or summat.

I'm not sure about the figures. £450,000,000 divided by £50 is 9 million fans. Do we have that many?

We only have 1.5m likes on Facebook and that's free.

Someone put it on Kickstarter

For £50, you get to keep the name as White Hart Lane. For £500 you get to keep the name and get a season ticket too. For £1,000 you get to keep the name, get a season ticket and 90 min kick around on the pitch. For £10k you get to keep the name, season ticket, 90 min kickaround and you get Sandro as a bodyguard for the day

I am not giving any money to the football machine. Furthest I'll go is a pint at the pub.

£450million where has that figure come from because that estimation was for the WHOLE park and even that was a high estimation and that would include the returns with sale of over 100 properties on the site iirc

We could buy the club for less than that tbh, our club is valued at £352mill at the moment by Forbes(which is high) and considering our only debts are for land we own which is worth more, if a 352,000 fans each paid £1000 pounds we could buy the club potentially and its not like Joe Lewis puts any money in to the club anyway LOL

Then there would be 352k shareholders with equal voting rights and nothing would ever get done!

If only there was some way that us fans could give money to the club whilst also receiving something in return. We should start to sell merchandise, and maybe sell tickets to the games. I reckon that idea would take off.
