I'm a lucky, lucky boy.

First of all my road trip plans didn't happen, so me and a couple of mates were going to fly out, they pulled out and it all fell through this afternoon but I just managed to get myself on a billy no mates flight to Milan via Paris (with a tight connection to make), no hotel so slumming it in Milan Linate airport for the night, but, by any means necessary, I will be in the San Siro on Wednesday night.

If you see a poor, lonely little Spurs fan with a small shoulder bag on his lonesome, come say hi!

Shelfers, that is brilliant!

We were originally going to fly to Geneva and drive from there, but there were too many things hindering that plan.

Have you got an official ticket or have you bought it off the Inter site?

I just had to make it, unfortunately I miss the home tie due to work so I couldn't face, after 18 seasons of going to Spurs, missing Spurs playing against the European Champions in the Champions League - I will make it, by any means necessary.

Worried about my connection in Paris though, 55 minutes between connections

Not wishing to be the bearer of bad news but there is an air traffic controllers strike this week in France - starts tonight, main effect is tomorrow but will cause disruption until Friday.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you Shelfside, but I'd check with your carrier if I were you.

:eek:mg: That and the fuel shortage over there, I'm going to need to be lucky, but I'm still going to wing it and hope for the best. If I get stuck in Paris, I'll check in to a hostel, have some nice food and probably end up with the protesters and set some cars alight.

I'll check tomorrow, but I'm prepared to risk it!

Last hour of work for me before flying off to Milan this evening.

Two tickets got delivered this morning (talk about cutting it fine!), got to pick mine up from the post office later today and then collect another two at the stadium tomorrow.

Looking forward to it.

 The last month I have been jokingly saying I should become one the amount of people asking me if I can get them tickets or sell tickets they have spare.

I naturally inform them that the official site is the only place to trade tickets
