The 2nd post is golden. 'Wait till they have played someone half decent then it'll be easier to judge' who was it we beat last Sunday????

I wont read it because this stuff always winds me up.
I hate the way Liverpool fans (and united) think it is their divine right to beat all other teams.
All the pool fans I know were going on about how lucky we were at the weekend after they played us off the park apparently.

Its really interesting to see what they think of us and you can tell that they range from disdain, to reasonable to fearful. I actually think that they respect us and feel that we are now a good team. If it wasn't for our reputation of messing things up I think we would be considered as serious challengers for the top 4.

I like reading these forums even if they do tend to wind me up a bit. You can get some posters who are objective, but you also have some idiots who think we're not even good enough to breath the same air they do.

Handful of posts made me laugh though

"They're Tottenham. Even if they had a 73 point lead at this stage, they'd find a way to fuck up."

but this one takes the biscuit

"Wait til they've played someone decent and then it'll be easier to judge."

One dude, Juan Loco, posted something, interesting read. Was nice to see, cos Lord knows we don't get enough credit from some fans. Gomes also gets a good mention

Mostly pretty fair comments, interestingly alot of them echoed Hansen on MOTD last night when he said something like "Its Spurs, they will always find some way of messing it up." Which I suppose coming from a team with 18 titles is pretty unsurprising. If we are being honest with ourselves, alot of us think it too!Eek

Spurs have as much chance of top 4 as Liverpool do of winning the league.

There is actually a generous amount of good comments from some of those fans.

To be fair, the scousers that I employ, didn't moan about the penalty decision too much, just complimented us on how we played.

If any scousers complain about that 'penalty' just point out to them that Carragher pushed Crouch in the back with two hands as he went for a header in the box. Anywhere else that would have been a foul, so why is that not a penalty. Andy Gray just make a joke about Carragher using his experience.

I've been to anfield twice, my cousins and some friends support liverpool so obviously I have alot of friendly banter. Im not stupid enough to try and argue because we never finish above them and they have the CL pedigree we can only dream of. Over time I always commended Liverpool as their fans seem very knowledgable and fair about the game, they were honest and humble and knew when they did well and not and always back their manager.

Recently though I have found a change. They now are alot more bitter and pretty much delusional. I have strongly always said to my cousins....Spurs will get into the CL before Liverpool win the league, and also that Liverpool will never win the league under Rafa.

The comments after sunday were quite ridiculous. I saw no congratulations or well done you done us. They claimed a draw was fair.....on what basis??? They should have had 2 pens.....when you have rely on maybe penalties, says it all about your team.

Very dissapointed, we could have been 3 up at half time and were fantastic...when oppo fans and managers come out and spout crap it winds me up so much. I know next time I speak to my lpool mates im going to get angry, I didn't gloat over the win too much...just said their title challenge is over already ahahahaha

I got my 'Tottenham Hotspur Premier League Winners 09/10' tattoo done on Sunday, so it was handy we won tonight.

and just to add I find it very amusing that no matter what other clubs forum you read, you'll always find a spurs resident on there giving it some.

WE ARE AMAZING:)

I think the bit i highlighted could be the real reason they did'nt moan too much :)

I have 2 mates that are scousers who I served with in the military who are totally different when it comes to commenting on the games that they see Liverpool play.

1 friend was absolutely slating Everton after there first game and on his facebook was "we will show them how its done agains Spurs".
After the game I phoned him and he just said that they were done by the better team and we look really strong this year and have a good balance.

My other mate was like "you lot were f**king lucky and we should of beat you but were robbed by the ref" and " Overall we played the better footy".

Whoever you speak to no matter what club they support you will get the fans that will say fairplay, you were better on the day and deserved a win and you will get those that who think that you sdhould not be playing on the same pitch as there team.

I think Liverpool fans are genuinely worried this year as they dont seem to have the options from the bench that can drastically change a game if needed. Yes they had a good result against stoke last night but lets see how they do up against the bigger teams. On this Liverpool forum they spouted off about world class players but if Gerrard and/or Torres get injured at any point I think they are going to struggle massivley as there team really heavily rely on these 2.

I completely forgot about that - you're right - definite penalty. Carragher double-handed push. Laughed at Carragher trying to keep up with Lennon in the game. Carragher has no pace.

Where has the Scouse fabled humour gone? Them lot couldn't rustle up a decent jibe or barbed comment if their life depended on it.
