It's Nature of the Cup. Was like that at all times.
I don't know how old you are but it simply wasn't like that at all times.
The FA Cup final was the most watched football match in the world with the exception of the world cup final. No way it was it a second rate competition.
That team we fielded should have beaten them. Indeed we were beating them until the last 10 minutes.Magic for the lower but it seems a lot of the top teams are not that fussed. I mean look at the team we fielded! The fact Kaboul is playing says it all.
I don't rate FA Cup a second rate competition at all. Quite opposite.I don't know how old you are but it simply wasn't like that at all times.

It's only a Mickey Mouse cup, when you are knocked out.So with Us, Chelsea and City out is it starting to show that a lot of the big teams just do not care for this competition anymore. I mean the Capital one cup has a semi final of 3 of the top 6-7, and an exciting Wembley final. Maybe the FA cup is starting to go obsolete. Thoughts anyone?
Also to add to the fact you can't find a legal or illegal broadcast of it anywhere so how can we support a cup we can't even watch?
Wow I'm 3 ratings off a full house!

When they reduced the number of teams in our highest tier (I can't remember if it was Div 1 or Premier League at the time) the clubs were complaining that they weren't playing enough games and receipts were down. That was a long time ago. We don't need two cups. There is far too much football already.
I can't agree to that at all.we need to amalgamate FA and League cups.
How old are you? Out of interest?I can't agree to that at all.
The FA Cup is special.
Getting on towards 40...How old are you? Out of interest?
I do feel the level at which a fan holds the fa cup is often directly related to their age
Most fans of an age to have grown up purely in the champions league era have probably lost that affinity to the cup now - plus would never have seen us win it or even contest a final
An induction into the SC hall of fame.So with Us, Chelsea and City out is it starting to show that a lot of the big teams just do not care for this competition anymore. I got a full house. What is my reward admin? :-D
Sorry mate I disagree with you there are a number of older fans who don't hold the FA cup in higher esteem any more at the same token their are younger fans who would love to win the FA cup. We don't have any affinity with the CL really, we've only been in it once in our history. How old are you? Out of interest?
