It is nice to see Spurs score inside the box again!

The matches under TS have been nice to watch because we have been scoring inside the opposition's box more frequently. This is in comparison to AVB where even last season the majority of goals seemed to come from outside the box.

I am still unsure about Sherwood but so far I do not have any complaints he has proved me wrong let's just hope he can keep it up. COYS

Don't worry, Andros will be back soon and we can resume normality.

I really hope Andros 'cut inside and shoot' Townsend doesn't waltz back into the team, our goals to shots ratio has just started to improve!

I hope he's deployed on the left if he does play. He just seems too eager to be the next Bale when on the right.

While the Townsend jokes are funny and, sadly, not really jokes at all, I honestly think he could be really good on the left for us.

It's all too easy to compare him to Bale as they both possess pace and dribbling in abundance, but I'd like Andros to be the Bale from about 09-11, before Redknapp moved him to the middle and right. The one who would beat his man and put crosses in and work hard. Andros can be that.

Andros can play either side there was no problem with him on the right he put in crosses and he had shots...big deal. All this about he should only play on the left is out dated he has better technique then Lennon whos a bit more restricted I feel we have to let Townsend develop.

Townsend played on the right in the two games in which he was declared England's saviour, and by and large he's played well for us on the right. People just remember a bunch of shots wildly blazing over the bar rather than his overall performance. Once he gets more self discipline into his game he'll be a very good asset to us on both sides of the pitch.

I think Townsend would do very well on the left under the current setup. As a whole we're much more free-flowing, while Townsend was the only source of anything that resembled something dynamic in the earlier part of the season when he was healthy. I don't think we should drop Lennon though. While he doesn't put up numbers, he provides a whole different element in attack that is massively missing when he's out, and he's got a fantastic partnership with Walker.

The left side is significantly weaker for us IMO, and I hope we play Townsend out there to address it instead of Chadli or Siggy again.

Oh please it wasn't a couple of shots. It was 46 shots in 14 apps of which only 16 shots were on target.

He's not the only one though. Paulinho and Soldado have also had lots of shots off target.

Gonna struggle to displace Eriksen in this form. Unless the formation against Swansea was preparation ahead of Andros coming into the side in that LW position.

As I said, once he learns the discipline not to shoot whenever he gets within range.

Now he has someone to aim at he might prefer to put crosses in. If he is smart he will have picked up on the rumbling on criticism about his tendency to shoot and show he can cross as well.

Its great to see us get more crosses into the box too and it always helps if you have 2 strikers to cross to. I think the fullbacks in particular need to improve their crossing ability though. Also the wide midfielders need to do a better job of attacking the far post when the ball is on the opposite wing. I was so pleased to see Eriksen attacking the ball for his goal at Old Trafford. We don't see enough of that.
