I'd be very very disappointed if Hudd went, he has potential imo and has come on this season. I'd back Ramos to get more out of him. If a lad can pass the way he can, he must be worked with rather than shipped out.

I think when he publishes the story tomorrow in the Mirror, that journo will look an utter fool.

Because they know we are in the market for players and also some are leaving, they can bsically make stuff up at will. Crap *story* IMHO.

If Hudd goes I would be greatly disapointed. I mean he is the most talented player in are team if only he was consistant!.

If we swap him for Diarra I think I can just about live!!

i dont see why we would be swapping thudd for someone who is more attacking than him... reckon diarra or err... just anyone who is going to actually play as an effective defensive midfielder. would be pissed to see him leave tho

I still think Huddlestone is an extremely valuable player in the current squad. We don't have anyone else on the team that can pick a long pass as well as he can. Plus, he's still got years ahead of him, and seems happy to be on the fringes at the moment. In the long-run, he's got the potential to become a legend here. He just needs to improve certain areas of his game, like his movement on and off the ball, and his defensive skills, and he'll be a gem.

And his fitness - it took Ramos' staff five minutes to recognise that his bmi was way out fro a professional football player. Now if his natural trait is to be a bit laid back on the fitness front then he won't be pulling up many trees on the popularity front.

Sadly Ramos will be looking for a highly mobile interchangeable unit next season. The Hudd just don't cut the mustard, no matter how natural his vision and long ball talent is.
He'd be better off as a player marked for starting regularly in a team like Pompey, serving up through balls for Defoe and having protection around him with more fitter players, in my opinion.

David Moyes isn't an idiot - there is no way he would swap Arteta for Hudd, who is a better midfielder than anything we have (except Modric who hasn't played yet so can't judge).

Same case for all the 'linked' Rover players.

Having said that I don't think JR would sell Hudd, who has shown good technique and has improved over the season.

as long as they arent lining him up for a swap with Andy Johnson. Didnt Comolli try to get him a couple of years back....i'd assume Ramos would veto that one straight away though!

I can easily see Arteta being got rid of if the right offer came in and why not Hudd and a few bob? Or, as suggested, Hudd and Gardener? Why they'd want our Tony though is a bit beyond me (he could be a superstar in the Champ's with his pace and strength, i hope he gets plenty of interest in the window). Mikel hasn't had the most outstanding of seasons, not a patch on what i expected of him when i first saw him, but he wouldn't be the first player to stagnate at a club - sometimes a move can reignite that fire a player has shown previously, who's to say Wendy isn't thinking the same way?

The Moyes 'interest' surfaced on an Everton forum and Clubcall (or something similar) a couple of days ago, the day before Noodles posted his earth-shattering 'ITK', let alone this. The Toffees reckoned, entirely logically, that their failure to maintain their challenge for fourth has been down to a lack of strength in depth, and that Moyes sees signing the Hudd as a way of addressing this; so, yes, he's going to address it by swapping one of his current squad for the Hudd.

We've also had a couple of Blackeye fans on here bemused by the amount of stick the Hudd gets, saying that they'd just love him to take over from Tugay when the old boy gets his free bus pass in a season or two.

He would possibly be better off in a team that played 4-5-1, but I find it ridiculous that he gets written off the way he does. We're having a lot of second-guessing as to what formation Ramos will employ next season, and which players are on his hit list.

Only worth it for arteta or cahill. i would welcome both of these guys to spurs.

We must keep hudd though, he is only young and has more potential that anyone else in the squad (apart from maybe bale)

If we had modric, arteta, lennon, jenas, zokora, steed and a top DM fighting it out for the 4 spots we'd be laughing

Forget Everton, the swap deal is supposedly with Boro, for Adam Johnson. Straight swap.
