To the ITK-sceptics --- please ignore this thread.

To the ITK-philes --- please bear in mind that nothing is done until it's officially announced.

Galahad recently overheard the following:

(1) Training: Double training has gone down very well with most of the squad who believe they are already feeling the early benefits. However a small number haven't taken to Ramos at all. Taraabt, Lee and Zokora's were the names which reached Galahad's hairy lugholes.

Double training is not all fitness work; much of the extra session per day is devoted to skills, tactics, attacking and defending at set pieces, etc.

(2) Team spirit: After training it is compulsory for the squad to eat together, rather than drifiting away in ones and twos as they used to.

(3) January: Most of the upper hierarchy of the club feel it's necessary to make a big push in January to move Defoe on to pastures new.

Chelsea have made it known they very much want Berbatov in January. Of course just because they want him doesn't mean that we want to sell him or that he wants to go.

Nothing earth-shattering and some of it corroboration of what we've read elsewhere. Hope it's of interest.

Lee was very much a Jol signing & Zokora seemed to be a Jol man...those two make quite a bit of sense.

JD will be the most boring, talked about rumour over January...feck, it's already dull.

I would hate Berbs to go to Chelski more than Manure.
But I could see the Ruski millions, being the incentive that he would need to 'improve his game' or suchlike.

I also like the idea that we might be practicing defending set pieces. :bang:

If Taarabt, Lee and Zoko don't like the training I wonder how the work shy Ghaly would've handled it?

Bit of a shame if Taraabt goes. I think he has potential but if his attitude isn't right....

Won't miss Lee too much. He's solid but we do have BAE although who knows how he'll be after injury.

As for Zokora, I personally think that he's had enough time to prove himself and it's time to move on. It's the one place that I think we need to spend some big dosh and get it right. As has been discussed before, our Central Midfield against the top 4 is a million miles away....

Ramos probably told him to give up with the stepovers!

I like Lee, wouldn't want to see him go.

think he's trying to create some kind of cyclone

would be gutted if lee went. dunno why people don't like him?

Staggers me that after training they meander off in their cliques. Team spirit starts with bonding at the meal table. Number one rule in social skills.

Gareth Bale with Diego Capel in front of him

Unlikely. For one would be slightly dangerous from a defensive standpoint. Second after hearing his name linked with us he said Sevilla were the only team on his mind and that he was 'flattered'.

Now I wouldn't wish Flatters on anyone, can you imagine him really wanting to come to the England after being 'Flattered'. I doubt it!

Taraabt is going no where - i hope. The boy has bags of talent, more than most in the squad, and if you think that Ramos has his blinkers on and can't see then your all mad i tell thee!!!
