yep - I think Spurs have chucked a whole bowl of very cold water on my stadium excitement - seems like the necessary cash ain't there ATM -

It's such an ask on our business model to fund a massive transfer budget and a new stadium

ah well - ten years time anyone?

Doesn't look like it at all. Is there any point them still considering an expansion to whl? I thought that was a non-starter, surely we just need a new stadium one way or another.

I can't believe that some people don't like Dortmund's ground. It is a proper football stadium and I agree that Germany has the best stadiums, there atmosphere's are also helped by the standing areas.

I think as long as we keep the seats close to the pitch we will be fine, look at Villarreal, they only have 20000 seats but they generate more noise than you get at the emirates stadium. Look at even Fenerbahce's stadium that holds 55000 and they generate lots of noise, this is the type of design that I like: http://www.skyscraperlife.com/sport-complexes/458-istanbul-fenerbahce-ukru-saraco-lu-stadium.html

I'm no builder or financier - but if the stadium costs £300m - and the loan is at 6% - that's £!8m year to break even on the interest - let alone repay the capital? not easy

Well Arsenal have found it very hard, even though they're in the champs league every year.

We're bound to find it even harder, if not impossible. For the time-being at least..
