when did AVB play to defensive central midfield players??? and when did he always leave our most creative passing players on the bench? can only assume you just mean Eric Lamela

otherwise he often played holtby or eriksen before injury. and Dembele or Paulhino with Sandro for the most part. then along with Sig/Townsend/Lennon/Lamela on the wings

thats 4 attacking players inc striker, one box to box and ONE defensive midfied player by my count. hardly set up to defend

We've played every single game this season with two CDM's and a no.10. We've never put our best passing players on the pitch together, it's been herd immunity to passing and movement. It takes a certain number of players on the same wavelength for a style of play to work. Arsenal set up to play Liverpool with Arteta, Ramsey, Carzola, Ozil and Rosicky. We set up with Sandro, Dembele, Paulinho, Lennon and Chadli. Every single player out of Arsenals midfield 5 was a better passer of the ball than the single best out of all 5 of ours. Every single one of our players was bigger and stronger than theirs apart from Lennon who instead is faster than any of theirs. They beat Liverpool 2-0. We got our arseholes split open with a solid 5-0 fucking at our home ground without ever having a shot on goal. Who's philosophy do you think is better?

I would put money on new managers being sounded out before the trigger was pulled. There will be things happening behind the scenes I am sure.

Injuries happen at any time, thats just football or any sport.
From all the info were getting rightly or wrongly he wants the job.
He picked the side, he made the subs, so he takes responsibility for the result.
Wasnt the line up i liked but i was still happy at 1 0.
Ultimately results count and he got it wrong.

We did better against West Ham last night than we did in the league, with a cobbled together back line and missing key players.

I dont think Sherwood will be our manager though. So its a moot point.
