Injuries happen at any time, thats just football or any sport.
From all the info were getting rightly or wrongly he wants the job.
He picked the side, he made the subs, so he takes responsibility for the result.
Wasnt the line up i liked but i was still happy at 1 0.
Ultimately results count and he got it wrong.

I wasnt keen on the lineup or formation but could understand the lineup at least with injuries and bigger fish around the corner.

But it really wasnt the absolute shocker of a performance everyone makes out, for 75 mins we were totally dominant. For the first 20 mins we were murdering them. It was enjoyable football. Then we totally ran out of steam. Stupid, but not the total farce people are suggesting. If we had Soldado on I reckon it would have been over by half time.

It seemed like they were a little too wound up to do well and blew themselves out.

I agree
But if his manifesto is to believed.
British core of players, they were all there last night.

What is his manifesto meant to be? If all the English players start at the weekend then you'd be justified in that comment.

"haven't heard any ITK/official information in past 24 hours"

Oh No! That's a serious indication that no-one is doing anything. You're hugely overreacting, like half of SC... and besides - there are far more serious things in the world to worry about mate. Chin up.

I'm not overreacting at all. I was just asking what do you guys think it's happening, mate.

So.. what do you think, honestly?

Tim Sherwood should not be in charge of our football club, not even as a caretaker. It's as simple as that.

I don't understand how a man with the shadowy title of "technical director" has such a different style to AVB. The fact that he had such a high position at the club despite pulling in a clearly different direction to Andre makes you wonder if the latter felt a bit undermined.

What a thread. Could it be gold in the making?? Or at least very VERY quotable over the next year or two.

Mullers, I thought you were too old and wizened for this kind of crap.
Why is it crap? Yeah come back in a year or two and have a good laugh if you can, I don't mind because that would mean I was wrong and we're successful. I'll take a custard pie in the face if it means we're successful and I'm certainly not to proud to admit I've made a mistake if I think I've made one.

The one where I back the manager to the hilt to the extent that I would give him a new contract and not give up on him before a ball was kicked this season like you did and this one too if you want.

Thats not his manifesto, it was just written by a journalist.

You do know that right...

Well, if it was his manifest-o
Then we put it to the test-o
And we came out second best-o
To that Ham from way out West-o

(With passing apologies to the Sultans of Ping)

firstly; remember that you're probably as well, if not more, informed than me.

I think feelers must've been put out before AVB got the bullet. If the noise we hear about Andre being increasingly twatish across the summer is true then Levy the businessman would have been in business mode.

What is surprising, or for me at least, make the whole being a twat thing slightly less likely is that had PSG or whoever come for him - Levy would've let him go for money... I can understand Andre's frustration in not getting Moutinho etc etc etc. Whatever: HE'S GONE!

Baldini will presumably have a big say, and it's highly likely that the board won't shy away from paying a big fee to get a "good" coach. Trouble is, coaching is not just about coaching. Politics will come in to play, language, the culture of England, the managers family, how they adapt to England and a million billion things in between.we could get Pep, and it could all go tits up. We could get Harry back, or Sir Ferg and it be amazing - or go completely tits up on day one.

Baldini / Levy / Lewis have no crystal ball - they've simply got to keep going til it works.too soon to rate Tim, but the sceptic can point to his lack of 'experience'... Can we afford to wait for a new 'proper' manager until after world cup? WIll it be a young man or an old head? My gut says they'll opt for someone pliable. Andre was not. Eventually the new man will not be - cos he'll earn his onions and want more power, or be out on his arse. It's all fun though!

Not true, i reckon i got bored around the end of September. If its boring its boring, why pretend otherwise.

Are you giving up on the new manager we havent even appointed yet. Thats kind of inconsistent.

It is crap because it is a petulant over-reaction usually spouted out by impatient rage babies.

Most mature supporters (I thought including yourself) have seen it all before and appreciate how quickly things can change. For better or for worse.

I'm giving up on Levy, he could hire the best manager in the world I still wouldn't have confidence because as soon as a bad run comes there is a fair chance he'll get the tin tack and won't be given time to install his vision. We hired a young manager who was learning and Levy handicapped him from day one, I don' expect any coach to be happy under those conditions.

Wow!! I hope the players and who ever the new manager ends up being don't have this defeatist attitude.

If it changes for the worse then it won't be classed as an over reaction.
I'll say it again, I have no confidence in Levy. The likes of you can stick your head in the sand if you want and keep defending the dear leader to the hilt, I'm not doing it.

You'd prefer to have exciting football and lose to the spammers in a quarter final after going a goal up, than a 1-0 boring win, wouldn't you?
