ah he did ok it wasnt exactly his best game for us. shame about the penalty but the one thing that i have always respected about him is his work ethic and the fact he genuinely seems to care about the club but as bad as i felt yesterday it didnt seem to come close to how he was feeling.
i wont do a spursking and ask for his email address so i can send him a mail but i hope at his next appearance the fans give him a great reception

Man enough to take a penalty.... still a shite penalty... but fair play for being brave enough to take one.

I might send an e-mail to THFC and hope they forward it on to him. The poor sod could do with a lift.

Anyone of us would give 110% to play for spurs doesnt mean we would be any good. There seems to be this myth that ohara is a good player for us how it started i dont know but if we are to get back to the top six in the league we need better squad players than this. As for someone on here suggesting he should take over the captaincy from ledley you must be on drugs or an arsenal fan.

He needs to man up and stop being a pussy. Whenever he is on tv he is crying like a lil pussy ass bitch.

But in all seriousness. He has his whole career ahead of him and he could be a great player for us. Yesterday can only make him more determined to succeed. The challenge is now will he stup up to the plate, knowing Jamie'O I'm sure he will grasp the challenge with both hands and try his fucking heart out.

...and how do we know this?

Modric doesn't seem to back down....even took them for Croatia in the EC

I imagine Modric was going to take the "decisive" fourth penalty. At least I would hope so anyway.

You my good man are just one of many fuckwits who cannot make a sensible comment on a subject. We wouldn't have been in the final if it were not for Jamie O'Hara. FACT!

So, just like last year he had a big impact in getting us there but never played.

Ramos did what was best for the team not what was best for the player

At least he has the bottle to step up and take one. Can't fault the boy for putting himself up there to be knocked down. Where were the others? The captain? Luka? Our top scorer? Oh yeah, on the half way line.

I'm sorry, but when did O'Hara cost us the cup. You can't lay blame in penalty shoot outs. He stepped up, he hit the target, it got saved. It's total luck of the draw. It wasn't his best performance, but it wasn't a terrible display.

Really proud of this guy tonight!

I was so impressed with his work rate the other night against Shakhtar, I really feel he should have started in place of Jenas for the CC Final.

When he did come on he was fighting right until the end, and his tears at missing the penalty just go to prove his commitment and his genuine passion for Spurs.

Well done Jamie, proud of you son, and I hope every other Spurs fan is too.

I beg your pardon? The exact way in which you've phrased your post shows your complete bias against Jenas, regardless of how he plays.

Yes, O'Hara did alright when he came on and yes he closed down a few players and was generally okay.

But, in no way was he a touch upon Jermaine Jenas yesterday who actually ran himself into the ground and with the help of Zokora, who was also excellent, really outfought Gibson and Scholes in the middle of the middle of the field.

Jenas has his critics, and in my opinion that criticism is sometimes warranted as he is far too inconsistent in how well he plays and he often only seems to raise his game when against the big guns. If you hold that against him (and I can see that you do, but I'm not going to start a debate on that now) then fine, whatever.

However, if you cannot appreciate the amount of effort he expended yesterday then I don't know what else to say. I mean he not only outran the rest of the team but was also always available in support of an attack when we went forward, constantly closing down the opposition and always putting in (last-ditched) tackles when required.

By all means praise O'Hara, but don't lay into JJ just for the sake of doing so. A little less selective viewing would be appreciated. Thanks.

O'Hara only played in the 1st leg against Arsenal and 15 minutes against City last year in the League cup so he hardly made a big impact. The team that Beat Arsenalm 5-1 was the team that deserved to play in the final.

O'Hara deserved his place after his performance against Burnley and against Shaktar

Agree with this, I'm not a big fan of JJ or Zokora but thought both were excellent yesterday, was shocked to see Jenas brought off for Bale because he'd had such a good game and he is supposed to be one of our fitter players.

Fair play to O'Hara, he put himself in the firing line by stepping up to take that penalty. Heart of lion that fella and if we had more players with his attitude we'd be a bit further up the league.
I hope he gets another chance for some Spurs glory as he really deserves it.

He's a good squad player, but nothing more, I wont change my mind about him, like the guy but nothing special.

He's got alot of bottle for going up first, but you have to ask the question. Why did Harry send him up first??? I think every spurs fan would love to see O Hara develop into a great premiership player, but sadly this is not going to be the case.

I compare O Hara to Noble ( WH scum ) both have potential but at the moment there qverage palyers but they have big hearts for their team!!!!
