To be fair he wanted to come to Spurs because we were playing fantastic football and were on the up.
He joined, we sacked Harry (think it was that way round? Close call) before he'd kicked a ball and its been down hill ever since (who would have thought).
Not very professional granted and the way he's been playing its no big loss but in that parallel world where we never sacked Harry, Bale stayed and we got top 4 for a third time he played with a massive smile on his face and was one of the best cbs in the epl.
In our reality he's bloody miserable and to be fair its understandable.

I'm certainly not losing any sleep over this. I say this without any bitterness, Jan is not SuperJan, just like Pav was not SuperPav.
He's an ok, goodish defender, rather than a top defender. He isn't irreplaceable.
