I didnt say you did. I just disagree that Jan is lacking in that attribute as much as you're making out. He was pretty much dominant in the air in the 12/13 season. I dont know why but for some reason he seemed to lack the effort last season, and this "he's crap in the air" label seems to have been attached, and I dont believe it has any credence.

About 18 months ago he was converted to a CB and played there (apart from the odd game) ever since.

The Belgian on Twitter (who seems to get good info on Belgian players) reckons this will put an end to the Verts to Barca rumors.
