Ades back no panic! If jd Is only out 2 weeks might be a blessing in disguise in that ade can play up front alone as preferred and cement his place

This is fantastic news for Spurs and with Defoe out injured and Holtby behind him I think we'll see a different Ade than we have so far this season.Get hitting those optimistic ratings people :)

Ade has missed VDV, hopefully Holtby can be the catalyst for a return to goal scoring....(y)

If he has a pelvic problem and is out for 2 months the club should use that time to get that sorted at the same time, an op if he needs one or something so he is back fully fit

Ade coming home, and hopefully he'll look more interested than he did in this game.

Why are people saying that Ade looked disinterested and lazy last night? Poor fella was completely isolated up top and his team mates seemed to be expecting miracles of him on his own.

Hilarious signature. Who dem fools?!

EDIT:Oooops. Didn't realize they were our own.

To be fair anybody who goes to the training ground to get behind the Sky reporter on transfer deadline day is more than a fool regardless of who they support!

Just be thankful they werent as hidious looking as the Stoke bunch

It was the moon faced guy who cracked me up. Not just very strange looking but far too old for that mullarkey!

If anybody's been reading the latest quotes from Leandro, it makes us look like plonkers. The guy couldn't give two fucks about coming here.

Come on, its a stupid question isnt it. Of course he'd rather have signed a striker than not especially given the subsequent injury to Defoe, and you could imagine the medias response if hed have admitted it ("AVB and Levy at loggerheads blah blah") but the difference between AVB and Arry (for instance) is that he doesnt give the journos their headlines and i admire him for it. Hes playing the game and hes smarter than journos and they arent his mates. We should be happy about that fact.

AVB is playing a clever game. If he makes a big thing about no striker, the moment we lose the press will go to war. He has to pretend all is well, even if it isnt. Not to mention he has to give the players confidence. Hes handled it really well tbh.
