Voldemort chose Harry Potter as his rival & a equal, by giving the scar on his forehead.

WestHam fans are like Voldemort. They are desperate for us to be seen as their rival & gave us the scar of lassagne-gate.

https://uk.sports.yahoo.com/news/je...ottenham-derby-is-even-greater-121921202.html

West Ham fans need to read this part

"Playing Tottenham seems to rile up West Ham like nothing else - something that when I first went to Spurs I didn't really understand.

I still don't in some ways. Tottenham's number one derby will always be Arsenal. If any derby intensified in the years that I was at Spurs, it was the one against Chelsea. But the players never viewed West Ham as one of the big derbies, and that's probably one of the things that infuriates West Ham fans.

I even remember having conversations trying to work out what the West Ham thing was all about. Granted, they were close geographically, but so were Charlton, for example. I didn't get the hatred they were trying to create, which I didn't feel ever materialised from Tottenham's end. The biggest derbies remained Arsenal, followed by Chelsea, and I don't think it's any different now."

Arsenal and Chelsea (and a shitload of others) are bigger games, but there's no one I fucking hate more West Ham.

Reading the article , I find his comments re the lasagniagate events interesting . For me , it was the moment that our club bottled it. I can't believe other major clubs would have folded so completely on the eve of a massive match . In medical issues you can always fudge things so if the shit hit the fan later , after we refused to play , we could have always got a doctor to back us up .

Yes clubs like Rangers have been demoted a league or two for misdemeanours...but these were not for medical issues like this .Anyway , who could prove the players were well enough to play ? ...days later .

Simple answer to the Prem...'We don't have enough players to play the game ' 'Here is our doctors note' ...and here's our lawyer's address ,

Which branch of business expects vomiting workers to carry on work ? . There must be a health work regulation we could've used as defence if it got ugly . Bottled it , intimidated by threats I would speculate .

FUCK the FA schedules this was huge for our club .

A very strange set of circumstances as Jenas alludes to . 'Only time its ever happened' .

But whatever the dodgy cause of the illness, we shouldn't have so quickly bent over and taken it up the arse In My Opinion.

Was going to post something similar. Never understood why we didn't just get a medical note for every player and tell the PL to fuck off.

I remember Middlesboro got docked points but they had players with flu and had slightly more time to deal with it.

I don't hate any team not even the arse anal who are considered our biggest rivals. However having said that I would put the Spammers alongside the likes of Palace, QPR, Fulham and Charlton, even Watford. They're there (or thereabouts) but nothing more. Very rarely have I looked for their scores come Saturday afternoon, unless they directly affect Spurs for some rare and strange reason. Arsewipe Whinger however is another matter and there is no-one in football that I dislike so intensely as this lanky streak of piss whose mannerisms irritate me no end.

They got relegated by 2 points that season as well.

God damn that day. Dammit straight to hell.

Food poisoning to the entire squad, on the last day of the season when needing a win to beat your bitter rivals to 4th spot. It could only happen to Spurs and I still believe that there was something dodgy about it and it wasn't just coincidence. Some gooner scumbag working at the hotel had to be behind it.

The truth will out one day.

I've never really shared this before but that year was the worst year of my life. We were expecting our first child and with spurs riding high I can still remember singing "can't smile without you" to our bump. Like everyone else I was wrecked when we lost to West Ham, but then 2 months later football was insignificant when we lost our baby daughter and had a still birth. It's funny the only song that seemed fitting to have at Abigails funeral was "can't smile without you" It's incredible that she would have been ten this year. To this day though "lasagne gate" and losing my daughter seem entwined. We've moved on and now have 2 beautiful little girls but the words West Ham always remind me of that dark time..... Not really sure if I should've posted this, but it amazes me how football and life go hand in hand
They do. Our first son was born the day before we qualified for the Champions League in 2010. In another crazy, exciting season, my wife is again expecting.

I'm pleased that you now have two lovely daughters. Family comes first. Spurs close second. We are so due this.

Recalling that day from those quotes makes me hate them and the scum so much more. It literally leaves me filled with anger. I really hope we can demolish both this week, even if it's asking too much. I'm sure the players will give their max as always - these games are the ones where it will be appreciated most.

Reading that has wound me up all over again and reminds me why I hate them so much when they are really an irrelevance. It also reminds me why I hate that smug **** Pardew.
I recall that he was in the Sky commentary box earlier that season and was getting a load of stick from the Spurs fans, he said that he hoped that their last game of the season against us had something riding on it so he could get his revenge.
If it had been any other manager or team they would have played a second string team against us as they had a Cup final 6 days later and nothing to play for in the league. Instead he played their full strength team and the only good thing to come out of that was that it probably cost them the FA Cup.
Also, wasn't it Zamora who said that there was nothing wrong with our players and he could see no reason for us not playing ? Stupid ****

Brave post. Really great that you ended up with 2 girls in the end.

Come this time tomorrow only you and I, and every other person on this forum, and every other Spurs fan, will know how special being Spurs is. Despite the shit times of yesteryear, we need to be the 12th man even more now. Our lads believe! Come on!!

I really wanted us to win tomorrow more than anything - reading your courageous post has made me even more fired up to want to win, for you mate.

I remember at the time, the FA said if the players are too sick to play, we would have to use our youth team and when we told them they were allowed to go on holiday early, they told us to call them back. If we had shown them a medical note, they would have probably prevented those players from playing and forced us to recall some of the youngsters.

Thanks for sharing that mate, I know what it is like to lose a baby and it was extremely brave for you to post that up here also I can imagine how everything was insignificant in comparison, I certainly felt that way about everything, not just football.

I also have a little boy now who is 3 years old.

I wonder if the FA or Premier league could of punished us if we hadn't publicised it, taken to the field, and after a short time, 7 players fall to the ground throwing up. it would of surely been seen as a health risk, and I'm sure the rules state for a game to continue 1 team has to have more than 7 players complete a match.

anyway have always hated them, mainly their fans. I went plenty in the 70's early 80's, but they were scum

Wet Spam, along with Palace, are teams I hate losing to. They are both mediocre teams with a fan base insistent that they are a European-Contending side...they are both borderline average, with average players and even more average managers. Can't wait to see West Ham half-fill the atmosphereless fruit bowl that they call a stadium next year, will be a hoot...

For all I dislike Chelsea and the Gooners, you can't deny that they are good sides and big clubs on the whole.

Reckon we'll flatten West Ham 3-1. Kane, Eriksen, and I fancy a Defender for the other one, perhaps Wimmer with his first...
