England captain to move into White Hart Lane from Chelsea

10:00am Tuesday 22nd March 2011

ONE snippet of transfer gossip has set new standards of improbability, when such a feat seemed impossible.
John Terry, Mr Chelsea himself, is to quit Stamford Bridge this summer to join London derby rivals Spurs, reports the Guardian.
Sweeping changes are planned by owner Roman Abramovich at the club, reports the paper. As a result, Terry will be stripped of the Chelsea armband and flogged to another club.
Both or neither of these things may happen.
Next up, expect Wayne Rooney to be on the verge of signing for Leyton Orient in League One.

Eek

Great player, regardless of what people think of him, a top defender

I'm not disagreeing about getting him, I think it would be a great signing as even though he's a **** he brings that nastiness and winning mentality that I think we still lack.

The players would have to lock up their girlfriends / wives though.

I was laughing at the fact that I would think it would be very unlikely for this to happen.

Will never happen though, he is on £185k a week at Chelsea, he would never join us for 70k a week when he can get £250k at City

Not surprising in the least. It is only because he fancies hanging out the back of Abbey Clancy and Sylvie VDV...The rotter.

Haha, a defence with John Terry and Michael Dawson would be the greatest thing anyone has ever seen.

Why would we want him. We already have an old fashioned defender who in my opinion is just as good as Terry, and we have a more cultured one in Kaboul.

Even if we could afford him, wouldn't want him.

If I could have my pick of Chelsea CBs, Terry would be third on my list anyway...aside from the fact that I dont like him either.

Can't stand droopy eyes, so slimy and sleezy! Would hate to ever see him in our shirt
