Yes, it was a lads' weekend to sample some fine sherries and we just happened to bump into Juande. Total coincidence, this sort of shit always happens. Trust us.
Well, I believe what Levy told us about how it works, and I hope that the spokesman is right. Otherwise Jol is losing the class he had. He lost some of it when he didn't walk.
I lost my faith in Spurs boards the day we hired that **** Neill. It's never been restored.
I think it is obvious that Jol did not have the same relationship with Comolli as he had with Frank Arnesen. Jol is a top man, but I have got that impression that he was not afraid to tell about his opinions about things. He probably told Comolli his opinions, and wanted to be the one who decided the transfer targets. He did not accept Comolli's positon, even though he knew he was the one in charge of transfers.
I am so glad that Comolli did his job, and brought in his players, as I do not believe that Jol had that expertise in finding right players for the best of THFC.
Comolli had brought in talent to build a future at THFC. He has done some good pieces of business, and Tottenham will be a great team in the future because of that. I am very happy with Comolli, and are looking forward to what he can achive together with Ramos. I think DC and JR will have a good discussion about transfer targets in the future.
So where did those rumours come from? Do you imagine they made themselves up?
We may well have the best possible manager (sorry, head coach) in place. That doesn't mean I have to be happy about the truly shambolic circumstances of his arrival. And if bandwagon-jumping morons who couldn't follow their own noses to a shit-and-anchovy pizza insist on slagging off Jol's record, I'll continue to defend it. Those same mugs will turn on Ramos quickly enough if there isn't a very rapid improvement.
Unhappy yes, but the level of your reaction is ridiculous, anyone would think we were talking about the Third Reich here. The board got caught talking to another coach because they didn't believe the one they had was good enough. For whatever reason they were unable to make the appointment immediately (whispers to JR about the Chelsea job I suspect) and they got left in a horrible situation. They handled it poorly, but it's hard to see how, once they'd be caught, they could have done anything better. That doesn't mean I have to be happy about the truly shambolic circumstances of his arrival.
Who? Which mugs? You're Scrappy-Do having fights with people who don't exist or don't matter. In fact your over reaction towards the board is no better than theirs which you decry. And if bandwagon-jumping morons who couldn't follow their own noses to a shit-and-anchovy pizza insist on slagging off Jol's record, I'll continue to defend it. Those same mugs will turn on Ramos quickly enough if there isn't a very rapid improvement.
