Not sure why he's surprised about the length of the ban. This is a serious offence in itself, let alone on top of all the other stuff he has done. How many chances does he expect to be given?

He's not stupid, he knows the implications of betting on your own team to loose matches and the implications of that, it's no wonder they gave him a severe playing ban.

Not sure if it's true but someone was commenting that he made bets for his team to win when he is playing. But bets against his team if he is not.

I'm sure with those winnings he can afford to retire early
