So apparently Robbie Fowler has written in his latest newspaper column that he's heard King to us could happen...

Yeah, probably read it in the Newspaper he writes in

No one actually thinks Robbie Fowler would have a fucking clue about our transfer business, right?

Everton aren't going to rival us, that'd involve joining us in standing around kicking the tyres whilst 'considering making an offer'.

From the looks of it they seem happy to actually go straight to a club and talk about the player, like a normal football club...

Robbie Fowler and Stan Collymore....now there's two ex- players who write newspaper columns and have their fingers firmly on the pulse of what's happening in the football world !! You're better off checking this lady's articles :

He might know King's agent though...

Reading from Fowler's comment it's pretty clear "heard" means heard from a tabloid or ssn. Doubtful he was trying to claim inside knowledge. Just desperately attempting to achieve minimum word count for column content

Is there time for him to adjust to our way of play before Lamela/Son is back? And with Ross Barkley coming in, I don't see this happening tbh

For Everton to get where we are will take several seasons of progress. Buying lots of players does not equate with immediate success. If King chooses Everton it's because he wants more game time than is likely with us

Or we were just never that interested in him in the first place. He seems like a player we have lined up if we fail with all other targets.

Gosh we do love a flavour of the month striker don't we....From what I saw pre injury Callum Wilson was a more interesting player

Just suspicious King has had a good 6-9months in his career but not a huge amount before that

Solid player worth £10-15m in a normal market
