My thoughts (for what they're worth). There's no way that Veron would have known we're the only club interested. Even PSG don't go spunking £10m on a player without doing their proper diligence on them. We probably had a ceiling price and we're not prepared to get in some sort of auction for him. We've offered the same total value for the player, so it's not small time or trying to undercut the market, it's just the way we prefer to structure our deals. If the PSG interest is true then maybe we'll change the structure in order to secure the player, just because they're interested doesn't mean we've missed out.

How do we know we didn't match the bid and Foyth just chose to go to PSG instead? If Veron was doing his job properly he would have been over in Europe speaking to a few clubs and trying to play them off against each other. No one knows what actually happened behind the scenes.

Besides how reliable is this twitter link anyway? Until there is an announcement from either club nothing is concrete.

In the academy but well built, good on the ball and looking a cut above the other lads at that level. Gonna be a star in my opinion.
