If a full ore season has helped him regain his fitness and form, then great, Kaboul is a huge asset. However, if doubts over his durability remain, then given his contract situation, maybe the time is right to sell. I think Vlad has the potential to warrant sticking with him.

We'll regret if we sell Kaboul for only 6 million pounds.
I agree. Another player we have that should have been capped a lot more for the national team if he didn't have injury problems. Our other legend King had the same. King would have been capped more than any other English defender had he been without all his injuries through the years.

The best players tend to get these problems...

Our other legend? You're saying Kaboul is a legend? And comparing him to King?

Fuck me sideways.

Just go away.

Haha!
King is a legend, but I rate Kaboul as one of our key players, and that makes him a legend too!
Yes, I really rate him as a legend!

You can call a player a legend even though he has not retired. I think Kaboul has done a fantastic job for Spurs, even though he has been unlucky with injuries. I can tell you that if we had four Kaboul's at the back, we would have been in the Champions League this year.

Legend is King, Mabbutt, Klinsmann, Gazza, Hoddle, Greaves, MacKay etc

Kaboul is a guy who showed a lot of promise then had bad luck with injuries, he had some very good games for us but a legend? Not even close tbh

Tbe problem is that you're putting him in the same boat as King, he's never been that.

One season of good form doesn't make him a legend.

I agree that King is something special, but Kaboul would have been there as well, if he had not had the injuries. On the other hand, King would have been even higher up with the best if he had avoided all his injuries.
For me, Kaboul is a legend.

Give up mate.

Kaboul is far from a legend.

COULD HAVE, SHOULD HAVE, WOULD HAVE. But never did. For one reason or another.

Why is Klinsmann a legend?......

He was a legend when he arrived, but does that make him a Spurs legend? he scored goals for us , but...

He won nothing with us and left after one season returning briefly to 'save us'......hardly a Spurs legend however popular he was IMO, though i agree he was a football legend in what he did elsewhere.

I want to keep Kaboul and I know its not the correct financial decision.

I just think hes better equipped to handle Pochettino tactics than Dawson and it'd allow us to loan out Chiriches. If he can't maintain fitness we bring back Chiriches in Jan.

He's had a few but I want to give him one more chance.

Don't think it'd be necessary to loan out Chiriches, nor would it be very wise given he will be turning 25 (Unless it's to an EPL side that desperately need him or it's a means to a makeweight for a player we could utilize to come in).

Chiriches, Kaboul, Musacchio and Vertonghen are a great CB group with Dier being able to provide great depth.

They would be my terms, we need to boost his PL experience as quickly as possible to get him properly acclimatised and he won't be able to do it here as it currently stands - I'm presuming Musacchio is locked in of course.

I'd add Fryers into that mix. I say that because most of the players you mention have a preference for the right hand CB spot, it's also one of the reasons I think we can afford to loan out Chiriches

How the heck can you say we'd have qualified for the Champions League with a full defence only ever making an appearance on http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php
