Poch should instruct everyone that even if in front of an open goal, should pass the ball to Kane if he is unmarked so that he can go on and set new records. Failure to follow instruction will mean the bench the rest of the season.:)

Can't believe that Lineker was the last one to score over 30 for us. I wonder if he'll ever get close to Clive Allen's 48! ;)

Its some doing by Kane to hit 30 goals as don't think our midfield is the most creative we ever had,.Allen did however have Hoddle,Waddle,Ardiles & Hodge behind him,who also weighed in with there fare share too i may add.

I don't remember Hodge. Was he in midfield or was he Allen's strike partner? Who else played then?

We seem to have forgotten.. Harry did not start to play in PL games until November, so 3 months behind the other teams strikers !! Go for it Harry... and buy the lads a dinner, they will help u out for 36 goals this season... COYHarriKane...

This was the 5 man midfield team.. Something like..

...............Allen (nico when injured)..

......... Hoddle..........
Waddle hodge ardilies Allen (Paul)

Thomas gough mabs Stevens

Can't remember goalie but Chris hughton, Danny Thomas and probably Micky hazard were around those times...think tony galvin was still around too

This team or there abouts came 3 rd in the league, final of fa cup, semi final of carling cup and semi final of eufa I think too... Was almost the greatest season ever... We're challenging for the title that year if I recall too, but faltered on all the cup challenges.. Maybe wrong on eufa, but I seem to recall it

One of my favourite teams with the Harry Redknap team of 2010, David Pleat did many wrong things but he knew how to create a great football team.....with a little help from Keith Burkinshaw.

I can't remember us actually being in Europe that year we got the the SF of the League Cup and the final of the FA Cup. as you say it was a blinding season but when we really should have won the league was two seasons earlier :(
