Kane, Lamela, Alli, Eriksen – is there a better attacking quartet in the Premier League?

I think our attacking quartet is one of the best around, they all know each others game inside out.

Only shame is that we can't whip up any good sounding acronyms for the guys...MSN at Barca and BBC at Real are all well and good, don't suppose the KALE of Spurs has the same ring to it...

Healthy at least...

Ha, KALE I like it - if we'd bought Berahino we could also have played BALE from time to time...

People are forgetting Nasri who has been very good since coming back for City - proper arsehat though.

Basically on paper the City four of Aguero Silva Nasri KDB (if they'd leave out a fit Sterling which I'm not sure they would) is better. But we've yet to see any evidence of them clicking on the pitch or actually performing as a unit the way our lads have. Short answer, at the minute, is yes we do have the best attacking quartet in the league.

And the best part is this is their first season as a unit, and they're aged 20, 22, 24 and 24. This fucking team

on their day perhaps Silva, Sterling, De Bruyne and Aguero - but not this season

Reckon De Bruyne is going to do a Bale next season, and be almost unplayable. He looked awesome the other night: pace, power and balance. Chelsea must be kicking themselves.

Totally agree. If money were no object and we could sign any player to come and play in our current system I would only put Messi and Bale ahead of De Bruyne on my wish list, that's how good I think he is going to be in this league.

Yes, amazing player. Two footed, hugely creative, fairly quick, eye for a goal. Chelsea are fucking idiotic for selling him.

Maybe not individually but definitely collectively. I hope now people are starting to realise how much better a team can be with a proper coached ethos rather than the 'fucking run around a bit' Redknapp mantra

I think they are, even individually personally.

I would take a punt on Rashford as well, think he would be excellent under Poch.

The scary thing is how much better they can get if they sharpen up their decision making around the box at times. The potential hasn't yet been really glimpsed.

I think if you had the David Silva of a year or two ago they might have the better group (even though I don't really rate Sterling, like at all).

It's just our combination of age (average age of what? 22?) and overall production (44 goals, 29 assists in the EPL) that really makes you think we boast the best group in the league.

Do a Fergie first & wait until the days leading up to our game against them and then unsettle him/them via the press with a well timed comment or two.

At first I read and agreed with the pundits offering us plaudits about how our side in the past has had "superstars", mentioning the Hoddles, Waddles, Gascoignes, Linekars, Ginolas, Van Dee Vaarts and Bales but that we've never had a solid enough supporting team to do anything special.

However I think that's unfair. We are pumped full of superstars and that's why we are where we are. Lloris, Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Dembele, Eriksen, Lamela and Kane are the among the best players playing in England. With the likes of Walker, Rose, Dier, Alli etc having incredible seasons it's only a matter of consistency before they are held up high too.

The difference is that we have a coach who has coached stardom into them as oppose to splashing the cash. £77m may have bought Özil and Sanchez but their relative lack of coaching has meant they've not realised their potential.

I agree with the sentiments of the caller in to 5 Live who said it's testament to our side that it's virtually impossible to pick a MOTM after most games because they all shine so well each game.

COYS. Thank you, Mauricio and thank you Daniel for finally getting it so right.

Remember when Man U signed BLANC and they lost 5 games which was unheard of at the time to Bolton, Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle, Chelsea? Think thats right. Spelt his name anyway.
